I have visited many of the antique stores in the OKC metro area repeatedly over the years, but Decades Revisited is the best of them all! The store is clean, well-lit, easy to navigate, and they even offer public restrooms. The booths are not so cluttered that you risk accidentally knocking items off shelves, and the aisles are kept clear. The booths are all nicely arranged and there is a high turnover of items so that there is always something new, even if you visit frequently. While there is one booth selling food-based things, like mixes, almost all the other booths sell antiques, vintage items, furniture, and collectibles. This is definitely an antique store, not a boutique store. The shop is huge and it always takes me well over an hour to see the whole store.
Although the store and the items are excellent, where Decades really excels is in their customer service! Not only will they help carry and load things into your vehicle, they offer without being asked! During the pandemic, they provided the opportunity to shop from home by giving video tours of the shop and posting photos of items on Facebook. One of the things I missed during the pandemic was going to antique stores, so this really kept my spirits afloat! I appreciate that they have continued posting photos and maintaining an active presence on Facebook ever since, as well as taking orders virtually. I live about 30 minutes away and don’t always have time to drive to the store to purchase something I saw on their Facebook page, so this is such a handy service! They are also very knowledgeable about the items in their store and can always locate the item if you are trying to find something you saw on their Facebook page, or if you are just in the market for a particular type of item. They also do an awesome job of packing your purchases so they arrive home undamaged, and they even provide boxes.
I could go on and on but overall, it’s just a wonderful place to visit and I always feel like a valued customer here. Do yourself a favor and stop here if you are ever in the area! It truly is a...
Read moreUpdate- I reached out to the owner after he responded with his email. It’s been weeks and I’ve gotten no response.
Some very cool items but the staff member that I asked for help was very short tempered and rude. She was an older woman with grey hair and glasses. I found a clock with no price that I was interested in I asked her if she could get a price and she said uh well I guess I could call. She called asked and hung up on the guy she gave me the price which was in line with a perfect working and chip less model. I asked her if she would tell him it’s chipped and if he would come down. She Huffed called again and and came down $3 dollars. We put a battery in the clock and found it didn’t work I asked if she thought that would change his price and she said Ughhhhhhh! I’ve already called him twice so no I’m not calling that’s final offer and gave me this awful look. This whole encounter Maybe took 5 minutes. She had such an attitude it was horrible! No one was waiting in line, she was just being rude and didn’t want to deal with it. There were a few other items I wanted but I won’t be going back for, if I had a booth there I would move that’s terrible for your business we will not be returning and I wouldn’t recommend...
Read moreI went here for the first time a few weeks ago. There was so much to look at and everyone was very kind. I got a TON of stuff. All my many glass items were packaged with care and someone even carried my bags out to the car. This would have warranted 5 stars.
However I was overcharged for a set of cups/saucers. There was a tag on the cups that said $6 for set of six and one on the saucers that said the same thing. I thought they were tagged separately so people would know they went together. There were only three cups and three saucers. Because there were six items, naturally I thought it was $6 total. When I saw my bill when I got home, I was SURPRISED to see I was charged three times as much at $18! $6 for three sets. If that were the case I would have only bought two but the tags said "set" so I was forced into getting them all. Even if I did misread the tags, maybe it should have only been $12 (each set of three marked as $6) but definitely not $18.
I didn't read through my receipt until I was home which is a long ways away, so I couldn't exactly make the trip again. I'm just pretty bummed and dislike when I'm...
