The staff is very friendly, and that’s the only nice thing I can really say about this place.
My husband and I wanted to try something different, since we have been to Himalayas, Taj, Goporum, Ajanta, and India Palace (in Tulsa). Anyway, the buffet dinner charge is 11.99. The selection is smaller than anywhere else we have been, but the food isn’t good. Trust me, guys. If you like Indian food, don’t go here for it. The owner uses a lot of cost cutting measures. The “butter chicken” tastes like watered down white sugar and nothing else. The “palak paneer” is broccoli (instead of spinach) and potatoes (instead of tofu). The “naan” isn’t white, light, or puffy like naan I’ve have at other restaurants. Most of the other dishes (chickpeas, lentils, etc.) seemed to be flavored the exact same and tasted like cumin and cayenne.
All the dishes I tried lacked complex flavors and balance. The chicken biryani was most palatable, but it was still pretty bland, and not fresh.
This place only has such a great rating because the owner creates lots of google accounts and leaves themselves five star reviews. (You can tell because most reviewers don’t have profile photos and if you click on them they only have one or two reviews... for one or both Tikka Craze locations. Then they use their own reviews as quotes they showcase in their restaurant. It’s almost funny. Almost. Until you eat the butter chicken.)

Read moreVery mediocre restaurant. What they call a buffet is not a buffet. You get a couple of choices from some things on a buffet tray. They do not have some of the classic Indian foods that you would expect like sag paneer. The selection overall on the menu is not very good. We each choose different dishes from the faux buffet, my it it was barely lukewarm. AmThis s honestly the worst Indian food I've ever eaten, and I've eaten a lot of Indian food including in India. It was awful. We were so disappointed. We're mad that we didn't turn around and walk out when we saw how shabby the place looked. They also didn't have ice for cups of ice water, so we had to pay for bottles of water. It's not like we can't afford it, it's more that all we wanted was tap water on ice and they couldn't give us that. There was nothing special about this place at all. And the butter chicken that people rave about was nasty. It's all dark meat, and chewy. We are terribly disappointed about this place and would never go back. Do not waste your money. Just know that there is a place with much, much better Indian food merely a block or two south of this mediocre place on the right side of the street. This place was not good. Also the person who took our order was new or something. She couldn't even explain what was going on. We hated this place and really wasted time and...
Read moreLOVE the food. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff is nice. However there are some issues I have noticed regularly at BOTH locations that really need to be addressed before I will give more than 3 stars.
To summarize: three areas that need work are basic customer service skills, opening on time, and consistency.
There have been multiple occasions at this location when I have asked for something and not received it. For example, I ordered a two entree "box" and asked for the sweet and the spicy butter chicken. After I got all the way home I noticed they gave me the spicy buttered chicken but not the sweet. They gave me curried chicken instead. There have been other times when I've asked for mint sauce and not received it at all or not gotten extra like I requested.
They are never ready at the advertised opening time. And when you have to wait they can't even offer you a free drink?
The food is also inconsistent at both locations. Sometimes the mint sauce is nice flavorful and thick...other times it is watered down and bland. Sometimes the buttered chicken is fresh and delicious...Other times I wonder how long they put it in a microwave for.
I've seen the owner at both locations so I know he is not absent in its operations. Hopefully he sees this and can address these issues that make a 5...
