Waffle House — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Tonight like every night for the past four days my husband went in to get pie I'm pregnant and he knows I've been craving it, he came home with two very sloppy pieces, the butter wasn't even melted all the way said there was so much on them, said the manager was completely rude and treated him like an inconvenience. He walked in the door she sighed, he asked for pie she sighed and said there is only two pieces he told her that's what he wanted she sighed again and asked him sarcastically if he wanted both peices he said yes, he said the grill was completely disgusting and looked like it was never cleaned. Normally our service here has been wonderful except for tonight. My husband kept me from going over there that type of customer service will not be tolerated period if she has a problem with doing her job with a smile on her face she shouldn't be working there. I am calling HR first thing in the morning I was so disgusted I couldn't even eat the Damn pie. All of this was during the overnight shift and it was only 9:30 her shift literally started thirty minutes before he came in. Her attitude is how you will...

Very few customers at the time. Employees standing around talking making out. Some dirty tables. My order was incorrect, eggs nearly burned, dry and no cheese. Eggs were chopped and dry, not scrambled w/cheese as ordered. My waffle was light (as ordered) my wife's was not crispy as ordered, both were cooked off. Remake of my eggs was perfect. None of the employees knew what maple syrup was (although that's the only syrup they had). Employees were nice enough, although poorly trained to properly perform their duties without supervision. (Keeping the store clean, avoiding compromising behavior while on duty.) I was a waffle house employee years ago in texas and oklahoma when we took pride in our efficiency, et al. I do put this negative experience at the store manager and/ or the district manager's door. It's sad to see these developments eroding a once proud company's reputation...I cooked for waffle house years ago at several locations in texas and oklahoma. I'm fixin to try the one on mac Arthur. Pulled into the parking lot to park and immediately noticed a guy sitting inside just staring. I dont mean for a second either, from the entire time we pulled up, got out of the car, and walked in he didnt take his eyes off of us. When we went inside, we weren't greeted at all and sat down at a booth on the opposite side of the strange man mentioned earlier. There were ants COVERING the table! The waitress then told us to move that she knew about the problem... What kind of restaurant let's someone sit somewhere that's covered in ants when knowing about the problem?! This was just built a few months ago and theres already an ant infestation?! The employees didnt look up to the health code regulations and I happened to see the cook placing fresh produce back into the container after accidentally spilling some on a cutting board that had raw meat on it prior to him dropping it..... Were they not taught about cross contamination in training?! (If they were trained at all) I DO NOT...
