I go to that family Dollar right there all the time and used to go to the planet fitness until I stopped paying for gym memberships but other than that there's so much space there and have just felt like there's been so much potential for that area but for whatever reason ever since the grocery store in the movie theater moved out of there probably in the late nineties I just feel like it hasn't lived up to that spaces true potential since then. Read moreThis shopping center use to be thriving & hangout for all of us who grew up in the neighborhoods behind Almonte Shopping Center. From the arcade, movie theater, Peter Piper Pizza & my favorite shop a candy store way back in the 1980s. There for awhile it looked as if it would end up an abandoned shopping center. Now it has business like Planet Fitness, Family Dollar, Plasma Center, Liquor store, Mexican Store/Restaurant. I'm happy to see this shopping center which was a huge part of my childhood still thriving. It would be so cool if this place could get another arcade & candy store for all of us...
