9/13/19 Traveled down to Ponca City from Ark City, because I had the taste for Dixie Dog...my memory of them when I worked in Ponca several years ago inspired me (always delicious). Upon arrival we waited several minutes, restaurant was NOT busy 8:15 pm after placing order waited a good 25 minutes to receive our order not busy (just waiting). After waiting was given a luke warm burger and cool fries. Such a let down and I will not come back. All of the employees (6) were standing around the restaurant talking amongst themselves. I know the owner/manager would have been disappointed. It is so unfortunate that employees would do this. Also a couple pulled up to order and waited over five minutes finally he just pulled off. It's so unfortunate and troubling; I just wanted the owner/manager know; because I know that is not what you were paying those employees to do. Your tradition has been rich and you worked hard for that tradition sad that (one) bad encounter could spoil it for a customer. I was determined to put this review in because I felt it was important for you (the owner) to know....

It was very filling. I think the girl that took our order didn't write it all down. I asked for ranch and french for my salad and ketchup for the fries... they gave me 1 little ranch and no french, and no ketchup for the fries or tots. I guess she didn't get it, so I got out of the car and ask again for french, ranch and ketchup. She brings me back 2 little ketchup, a little ranch and a big french. I went back to the car a bit confused, then went back to the door and told this girl, I don't need a big french, I need a big ranch for the fried pickles. Still didn't get it... The food is good. Make sure the person taking your order writes down any sauces you want. Make sure to specify small, medium or large on the sauces you want to go...
Read moreMaybe it's me but if I have to go inside to alert the CarHop that I've been out there for 10 minutes and then you asked me at the end of my order for a tip that's just crazy and a poor business model, the burger are so good but when I'm the only customer I expect my French fries and tater tots to be scalding hot not luke worm, when I asked for extra napkins I expect more than two I understand food costs are high butt ffs one napkins eats it's not extra napkins. One ketchup packet for two different orders isn't enough salt package when I asked for extra salt is never enough, and if I'm sitting there maybe A refill of your soda is necessary.
