Regal Inn Ponca City — Hotel in Ponca City

This motel was the cleanest, nicest, most peaceful motel by far that I stayed at this week. I’m house hunting and spent 6 days at different budget friendly motels, some were so bad my feet stuck to the floor, and other things I won’t mention but Regency Motel of Ponca city was not only clean that it actually smelled clean, I could tell as soon as I walked in and the smell of cleanliness was real, it wasn’t trying to cover up moldy smells this motel was truly the cleanest motel I have been at, that’s why I wanted to write this review to let any of you know who are looking for a budget friendly motel, you can walk barefoot in their rooms and not be fearful of sticky floors and the smell of their laundry detergent, it was just so clean that when I started my car in the morning, the housekeeping room was close by and my car vents pulled in The smell of their fresh laundry detergent, on top of that this room was totally redone remodeled with modern features and pretty tile there was a refrigerator microwave and the TV worked and it was big enough to actually watch, if you’re looking for a budget friendly motel without getting ripped off I just want to report that this is the best motel I have been out all week and I will certainly Choose this motel every single time I come to Ponca City I got my moneys worth here on top of that very...

The room that my husband and I had was okay. Wasn't impress with the guy who runs it. When I inquired about a shower chair for the shower he was belligerent. He then told me in his snotty tone that we would have to buy one. I thought that hotels are suppose to have equipment to help those who are disabled. I thought it is a law. We are currently at a hotel who treat us like family. We were going back to the Regal Inn cause of the cost and my husband called ahead to see if they have any rooms available. The gentleman told my husband that they did and and it was only available for 2 days. We were going to do it but he started to ask me if we had a game plan for after the 2 days and then proceeded to tell me that he wasn't going to give us a room. Door handle was jiggled by someone trying to enter. 3 different times people knocked on the door. None of our friends in town knew we got a room. If it was hotel personnel, they didn't identify themselves. Pretty sure I saw an "escort" being picked up from a room a couple of doors down. We checked in at 6:30pm. We were packed and gone just 3 hours later.

Our room was not a remodeled room, it reeked of cigarette smoke (which I'm allergic to, my fault for not asking for a non-smoking room, if those even exist there.)

We were given a room on the back side of the building. (This is the first bad review I've left, ever. I usually just don't go back to a business I'm not satisfied with.)
