The Spring River Buffet was a great buffet at one time. We were pleasantly suprised to see it was only $10 Mon - Wed, usually it's approx. $20. We have always enjoyed going and getting to sample the variety of many different types of food. Most of them were great. This visit, not so much. The wait staff was friendly, no complaints there. Plenty of refills. The fried fish had a good flavor but you could tell it wasn't very fresh. The brownies for dessert were delicious, especially the one with chocolate, peanut butter chips and coconut. The salad bar was ok. The rest wasn't great. We got there early before dinner so the food should have been fresh. The chicken fried steak was just awful. It was over cooked and had a weird taste. Three at our table had it and none of us ate more than two bites, so bad. The beef steak had a good flavor but was tough. The beef tenderloin had little flavor and even with lots of au jus and then even more gravy was still to tough to eat. The broccoli was over cooked into mush and the tamales were just not very good. Didn't even try the pizza, it looked old and dry. The desserts were good but not good enough to save a bad experience. One person in out party said the restaurant has been getting worse and worse every time, and that he is done with them. I was suprised at how bad they had become. It's sad that it was only $10 and we were still disappointed. If it had been full price I would have...
Read moreStaff employees, an service were very nice an the food was extraordinary. I totally recommend this to anyone hungry enough to eat they weight in cuisine meats, seafood, salads, an excellent desserts because the pricetag ain't even close to any ole Regular buffet place you may be used to. Enjoy your time indulging fine exotic buffet foods BEFORE tryin your luck in the Bingo-Bango-Casino. Beware of the Bad N-D-N Magic that has been put upon the machines, tables, and any games associated with the Casino as a whole. Any money you may think you "won" is only a lure, a form of bait for the simple minded to spend all they money so that the N-D-Ns can gain a financial foothold in the ways of the 'Merica that so wrongfully took their ancestors land so, so, so, SO long ago. Any money "won" is cursed an will only be spent back into the slots, tables, an/or Casino in one form or another. Any finances may bring ill will to the one using it an the anyone involved with the jinxed funds will surely perish the same fate as the individual who accrued the "winnings". (Havin said this, I support the N-D-Ns an their silent war they are planning on this new age "SOCIETY" an I support figuratively scalping "SOCIETY" an taking back the land that was ripped an torn away from them long ago.

Read moreComing to eat here at the Spring River Buffet was horrible for a lack of better words. While waiting for them to open at 4pm; I noticed the sign that shows the pricing. $18.99 per person! Well, I know the food was good the last time we had been there so ok, we’ll wait. Let me tell you that was the worst decision I made all day! I don’t appreciate paying $18.99 for cold flavorless food. And forget all you can eat because when you sit down with your plate; you don’t want to go back! Cold, dry battered shrimp, what looked like left over pizza where the hibachi grill used to be, dinner rolls cold and dry. I basically ate some pulled pork with some mashed potatoes and then for dessert well let’s just say that was a gross mistake too! You think a piece of apple pie with some ice cream well think again- ice cream machine wasn’t even working. The pie was cold and on the dry side, the brownie was just as bad if not worse. The only thing that made it semi tolerable was the guy that was seating customers- Brett! I am pretty sure I will not go back and especially now that I see they are raising...
