Braum's has good Burgers - just don't go with the "Braum's sauce", unless you're into that sort of thing. I've heard it is just a mix of mayo and ketchup, but I don't get that flavor from it. Surprisingly, the chili is great, and it's a good comfort on a cold evening. The chicken strips are usually too dry and crunchy, but sometimes you get lucky and they're edible - and when they are, they have good flavor. If you eat inside, the dining area is large and clean. The restrooms are probably some of the cleanest in town. Just avoid Wednesday or Sunday evening since the church crowd is usually there and it's packed. If you just want to grab and go, the drive-thru is usually fairly quick - not McDonald's fast, but it's fast enough. Your food is made-to-order, so the amount of time spent waiting is really on you if you don't want to sit and wait. I don't usually eat the food here though, maybe one to three times a year. I do however, shop in the fresh market up to 5 times a month. It's a lot quicker than going in the grocery store and having to walk the entire store, only to spend more time standing in line than you did shopping! Braum's has a limited, but adequate selection of fresh veggies which are often more fresh than Homeland. The oatmeal is absolutely to-die-for and I have not found it anywhere else. The muffins are large and so gooey soft, you could live on them, lol. The brownies, unfortunately since Braum's changed the package are not that great - before they were super thick, so gooey and chocolatey, not too many walnuts, just perfectly amazing. Now, they're thinner than before, so overloaded with nuts, and dry AF because of the way they are separated from each other in the new package - which btw is near impossible to pry the brownies out of. Other than the brownies, pretty much all the baked goods are fantastic. Even the bread is great. I like the specialty, or gourmet breads which are surprisingly priced well (under $3 if I remember correctly). The milk here is the ONLY milk I will buy. It's hormone free, that's all good and well, but I get it because of the way it tastes. It's sooooo good! Braum's also has some of the best steaks I've ever purchased and the prices of their meat products are very reasonable. And of course, they have the best ice cream EVER. It's good if you are just running up to the counter for a scoop or even a sundae - which are actually really cheap! But the best bet are the quarts of ice cream. They are very well priced and they often have specials where you can get 2 for $6 or maybe 2 for $7. I hate that I can only get my favorite one 3 months out of the year 😭, but it tastes like a cup of swiss miss hot cocoa and I'm obsessed, lol. The main negative about this place is the employees. Most are nice and accommodating, but most are just plain stupid. I mean that as nicely as I can. It's not their fault really, I put it on the management for not training them - and maybe the management aren't trained well either. Most, if not all cannot even split your total balance with cash and debit - it's totally out of their scope! There's one manager who is a total cunt - and he's grossly unkempt, but he's also worked there for more than 10 years, so I don't see him...
Read moreWorkers please style your hair so that it won't become a special ingredient in your food from now on. People don't want to know what your hair tastes like. I apologize if this seems rude to anyone. I'm just irritated by what happened. Last night my Mother & I stopped for food at this location around dinner time. We ordered a cheeseburger with fries, chicken strips with fries, & the chicken dinner meal that comes with a small shake. Once we got home & settled down to eat. Everything seemed okay at first. However my Mom was halfway done with her cheeseburger when she took a bite out of the middle. Then to our horror a long hair was pulled out of the cheeseburger. I watched the long darkish colored hair being pulled from the burger as she took a bite. She immediately lost her appetite & went to throw up. I no longer had an appetite after watching that. Stuff like this happens & it's understandable. It was an accident. The fact it was a long hair made the situation worse. Watching that long darkish colored hair being slowly pulled from the center of that greasy burger as she took a bite was kind of disturbing. It's something I will never forget. If people are cooking food & they have long hair they should wear a hair net or something. I'm sure Braums has a Company Policy about this kind of thing. Im very sorry I gave you a bad review. I won't be eating the food here anymore. Although I'll still continue to buy shakes & ice cream. I won't be requesting any hairy...

The manager (shanika) is one of the most inconsiderate and rudest team leaders I've witnessed in an establishment in years.
While visiting inside and shopping in the fresh grocery area, she proceeded to come from behind the fast food counter hollering for the person running the register to ring customers up... Mind you there were 5 people in line. 2 people ahead of me. And the cashier was having to open boxes for the 2 paying customers in line ahead of me. Not offering any assistance to the cashier or the customers at all. Then quickly turns and goes back to fast food.
I could've done without this ridiculous behavior... No one that I saw was misunderstood about what was going on except the manager. It would've been much more appropriate to assist either in line or with the opening of boxes to restock items being purchased as they were opened.
Keep your chin up (nice cashier... Pleasant and curious. Fas I left I reminded her that not every day will be that bad. Even then she smiled and wished me a great day. The cashier... Not...
