Hardee’s — Restaurant in Old Fort

We live in a small town with Hardee's & McDonald's being the only fast food chains. So of course we choose Hardee's. This place is totally ridiculous.I can not eat country ham that is hard as a rock. The manager knows this. I told her one morning I wanted my ham soft, she said, "we know how you like your ham". Why do I have to take so many back? The next time I went in she gave me one that was hard, I took it back and got another. She told them to tell me there wasn't any any softer. Her sister works there and told me they had just cleaned the grill and didn't want to cook more. She told me before it was the other cook that cooked it like that. That's a lie, he always got mine right. I went in a day or 2 later for a milkshake and she wouldn't even acknowledge me. I sent her a private message on Facebook. She seen it and ever replied. I have never had a manager of a restaurant not acknowledge a complaint and make it right, not this one. I've been in a few times since and she has yet to speak to me. The food sucks! We got a burger yesterday that was cold, hard and dry. These people are rude and act like they don't want your business. My husband went in for a shake the other day. The manager told a boy to make it, he walked off. A nice girl from the back finally came out shaking her head and made him a milkshake. One employee is always sitting at a table eating when Me or my husband go in there, which isn't much, and she never speaks. They're just rude! Old Fort's got a Bojangles & Taco Bell coming soon. Thank goodness! You better take all these reviews serious and do something about this place. And don't bother sending me a link to copy and paste because I don't do that. I sent corporate an email and they called me back. I didn't return the call because I was just going to leave it along, but after the manager has been rude I thought it...

I just went through the drive through, where my town has been drastically impacted by Helene (flooding) where folks you would think people would likely be sympathetic to water events. I paid for my food and get told pull up we’ll bring it out. Keep in mind it’s pouring rain, and when you pull up there is not any cover. Only cover is over the drive thru Window. Also, keep in mind there are zero other cars in the drive thru. None. I asked why I’m being pulled up and the response was “they’ll care if our drive thru time is to long.” wtf. I paid my money for a service, and it’s my turn, and no one else is waiting, pull up. Then have to roll the window down in the pouring rain to get my food with a covered window a car length behind me. Last dollar that place will ever get of mine. I would rather starve. That is not how a business treats its patrons they wish to return. If you’re the owner of the Old Fort Hardee’s I’m speaking directly to you now. How about empowering the manager in the shop you have trusted the business with to exercise common sense regarding how customers are treated? Just a thought. Maybe say “Hey it’s pouring the rain and no one else is in line. Maybe we shouldn’t worry about the few extra minutes on the clock it takes to fry a burger up compared to the person giving us money coupled a long with our team member we are paying having to deal with pouring rain? Especially since when we already have this fancy window with a roof?” Just some advice you might consider. 🤷...

I live in a very small town where there are really only 2 places to get breakfast in the morning, one of them being Hardee’s! I have got the same thing almost every morning for as long as I can remember…(20+ years) a butter biscuit with extra butter!!! Now the food and service has not always been this terrible only in the last 2 years has it got ridiculous!!! I have complained as nicely as I know how repeatedly every time I have to take the biscuit back which is 9 times out of 10!!! I have even went has far as now checking it before I leave but then get attitude and hatefulness when I tell them… I can’t eat this!!! The biscuit is either burnt to a crisp or so hard you could brake a window with it!!! Ohhh but they are cooked fresh every 20 minutes…. No… no they are not!!! Because if they were I would be able to eat it!!!! It takes a lot for me to do something like this (review) but I have tried everything else and nothing seems to work!!! And yes I have even prayed that the cooks get the knowledge that they need and the managers have less attitude and more love and understanding that if they can’t or wouldn’t eat something then they probably shouldn’t send it out!!!! All I want is to be able to eat...
