The Blend (Hillsborough) Coffee & Cocktails — Restaurant in Oldsmar

I am editing this review to 5 stars all around because after several weeks from my previous review the service has been tremendous from every person I have encountered. I love this coffee place and my friend who is from out of state does too. He said he can't wait to visit again and have coffee from The Blend. It's such a cute place with delicious coffee!!

I love this place and the coffee. The staff is nice, but they aren't great with customer service. I was standing at the register and there were 2 employees right there and not one said hello or we'll be right with you. They were talking about the food orders and then when they did take my order the cashier said $6, no wait $7, no um... as if she wasn't sure how to read her screen. Twice I came here with a friend who just ordered coffee with a flavored shot and cream and both times they asked several times what milk he wanted and tried to make a latter instead of coffee. I understand there's espresso and lattes and so many options. Ultimately though, this is a coffee place and it shouldn't be so confusing to order coffee with cream. Again, I really love this place and their drinks, but their staff is lacking in customer service mannerisms and training. I won't stop coming here, but I hope it...

First time here... Customer Service is on point. We had the Seasonal Flight (St Patty's Edition), Bacon, Egg & Cheese Croissant and a hashbrown...

The croissant was absolutely delicious and crispy. The hashbrown had great flavor but it could've used at least 2 more minutes cooking bc it was a bit soggy for my taste. If the hashbrown would've been well cooked like the sandwich I would have definitely given 5 stars.

Now let's talk about the flight. To be honest I didn't think I was going to like them as much as I did. I was expecting overly sweet sugary drinks and they were not. All of them were perfect except the Cold Brew one which I couldn't really taste the Irish Cream flavor on the cold foam but it was still okay.

Suggestions:

Make the Irish Cream Flavor stronger in the Cold Brew drink.

Be consistent with how the food items are cooked.

Make an option for customers to customize their own flights (even if you charge a bit extra for such option). I know I would've paid more if I could pick and choose the drinks I wanted to try.

Definitely will be back. Prices are reasonable, portions are good and ambience is really...

I LOVE good quality coffee and unique coffee beverages! The seasonal flights The Blend (Hillsborough) Coffee and Cocktail offers are especially exciting to me!

For my birthday I treated myself to a to-go flight! Normally I prefer enjoying my flights in the coffee shop but time didn’t allow. Wow!!!! The to-go flight did not disappoint! The packaging allowed me to drive around town without concern for the beverages spilling! I loved being introduced to white expresso and appreciated the additional caffeine it provided!

This is the 8th time I have stopped by The Blend and indulged in a seasonal flight. Every time has been a 5/5 experience! I absolutely love the big windows, decor and well lit seating area! I haven’t ordered food but the options always look delicious and fresh. I don’t drink alcohol or fruity drinks so I can not provide a review for the cocktails, spiked coffee, or smoothies, but, I can without reservation strongly recommend any of their coffee and expresso beverages!

Thank you for adding this gem to what was for many years a run down shopping center. What a treat to live so close...
