Hibachi Burger of Oak Ridge — Restaurant in Oliver Springs

The owners of this business are terrible. I have known several workers from this business and they have all told horror stories. Just a few weeks ago one of their employees was pregnant and she miscarried and, while she was going through that, the owners still required her to come to work even though she was bleeding and in no state of mind to work. They under pay their employees and steal all of the tips. Recently one of the employees was fired for taking tips. Aside from this, drug addicts hang around the restaurant constantly and use the bathroom to consume drugs. Several times I have found heroin needles and straws used for cocaine in their bathroom. The building is also a mess and needs to be reworked and the kitchen equipment is out of date and needs better upkeep. The old workers who have since quit or been fired are all gone and they were the only reason to visit the restaurant to begin with. They did not bring back the quesadilla... Previous post: New manager so customer service is better. No longer have my quesadilla so I'll start trying new things on their menu. Previous post: Manager is the most unprofessional person I've ever met and will NEVER go back! Won't make order how you want. Price increase without warning makes meals about 50% more expensive. Yet didn't update the menu that states price starts at $7.95+. So don't understand why the basic chicken quesa is now about $15 because you also have to purchase the yum yum sauce separate now. Bad new cooks. Always takes over 20 minutes to get an order and the chicken is overcooked and hard, the tortilla is burned and WAY too much teriyaki used the last 5 visits. Im only making this review to help the business and not put them down. I personally encourage people to do business with local restaurant because that is what keeps them thrive for success. However, we didnt have a pleasant visit at the location. The first alarm was when we noticed that no one is using Gloves to make the food. We saw the waiter or server wipe her hands on the corner and head then place her bare hands on the vegetables. Next, they dropped those vegetables on the corner and then pulled an hair out the container to my wife. That caused a major problem to the point that I just want a refund. I was really looking forward trying the food but unfortunately that didn’t happen today. I will be in town until Saturday and maybe someone will hit me up. Again.
