Ma & Pa's Kettle — Restaurant in Oliver Springs

So I left an earlier bad review because I was unable to fit into any of their booths and when I asked if they had a loose chair I could sit in, I was told they did not. Based on the owner's response that they did have a chair available and I should have asked for the owner, we revisited Ma and Pa's Kettle to see how the food was. We were impressed with the Catfish, hush puppies and fries. The mozzarella cheese sticks were pretty awesome too. Will probably be placing orders to go on these items in the future. I still think they could have a chair or two maybe at each end of the tables in the middle of the dining room, just so a larger than normal person doesn't have to explain that they need a chair. My husband & I ate here for lunch on 12/8/23 I had the special of the day; meatloaf, mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese, & cornbread. My husband had a double cheese & bacon burger w fries & we had the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. We both thoroughly enjoyed both meals. 0 complaints!!! Cute little country family diner. Food was really good , plentiful and very reasonably priced. Service was friendly and food came out promptly. Seating is in tight booths so if you're on the bigger side it might be a bit tight for you, table and chairs would be a welcome addition.
