Iāve never left a bad review of a place before, even after getting bad service. Iām a very understanding person, and am willing to overlook many things. My experience at this location was absolutely horrendous though from the time I got there to when I left.
First off, I got harassed for my personal views from both the hostess and manager when I was minding my own business and simply trying to go sit at a table where my friends from our church group were sitting. They both walked off, so I went and sat at the table with my friends. Moments later that same manager came over and started harassing me saying that only 8 people could be seating at a table, even though we were sitting at two separate tables that were close together and the one I was at only had 5 people sitting at it... so, one of my friends got up and sat at a booth across the restaurant to accommodate the managerās ridiculous request.
Then the waitress came over and asked me and a friend what weād like to drink, since our other friends already had their beverages. I asked for water, which she didnāt bring out until over 30 minutes later, after I flagged her down and asked her again, and they werenāt busy at all... she didnāt seem like she cared at all and like she hated her job and coworkers.
Then even though the restaurant wasnāt busy and was fully staffed, our food took a very long time to come out. Meanwhile, the same manager who harassed me, along with 2 other employees were just standing in the entryway of the kitchen staring at my friends and I for a long time (we werenāt acting up or doing anything bad. We literally had just come from our church group at Christ Community Church, and were keeping to ourselves).
Then after a really long wait for my food to show up, half my wings were cold, and the other half looked like they had literally been sitting out all day. Not to mention, they barely had any sauce on them. I asked the waitress if she could go back and ask the kitchen how long the wings had been sitting out, because theyāre cold and didnāt taste normal. She said they couldnāt do anything about that and walked off.
The wings I did end up eating upset my stomach for a while too. The place was also much colder than all other places. Itās like they didnāt have their heat on at all, even though it was 21 degrees outside. One of the TVs we were watching football on started glitching out too.
The waitress didnāt even apologize for the horrendous service until she brought out the receipts to pay. Prior to that, she didnāt seem to care. I still left close to a 100% tip for the waitress because you could tell she hated her job and was probably just there to help put her though school. Still horrible customer service, especially from the manager.
DONāT EVER EAT AT THIS LOCATION!
If you really want BWWās go to a different location, otherwise I would highly recommend going to a different wing place altogether, like Oscars or Wingstop, or anything. Thereās plenty of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually order from the 76th street location because I've had issues with my order in the past at the 144th street location. Unfortunately, this time was no different. It has been well over a year since I've eaten at the 144th street Buffalo Wild Wings, but I thought I'd give it another try because so much time had passed. I regret that decision! I ordered take out for our family of 6 which cost me around $150...not a big deal, except for the fact that half of the food was disgusting and there were mistakes. I ordered 20 traditional wings with 4 flavors. There was barely any sauce in the wings and 15 of them were so dry the meat seemed to flame off of the bone. Kind of like bark flaking off a dead tree. I didn't end up eating those wings because they were awful. My 5 edible desert heat wings would have actually been pretty good had they not looked like they were naked because there was so little seasoning on them. So basically the 5 wings that were semi decent were still disappointing. I ordered queso dip with chili, but there was no chili. My 2 your kids didn't eat their chicken from their chicken tender meals because, again, the chicken was beyond over cooked. The breading was so hard they could barely bite through them and the meat was dry. No amount of dipping sauce could save them. We ordered a chicken crest ceaser salad, and the chicken was doused in parm garlic sauce. I realize parm garlic is an ingredient in the salad but I could have never imagined it would be THAT much parm garlic. We had to pick more than a handful of old brownish/red lettuce from the salad leaving it half the size it would normally be. We ordered onion rings but didn't get them in our order and I only got one small ranch and one small blue cheese for all of my 20 wings. My daughter got mozzarella sticks that were crunchy on the outside and darn near still frozen on the inside. It's hard to fathom that much of your order gets overcooked while other parts of it are undercooked. Perhaps there were new cooks, or they were busy when I put my order in.... who knows. I tried calling but they didn't answer and last time they messed up I was offered to have my food remade or coupons to cover what was wrong. This just forces me to have to eat there again and I'm not interested in ever making that mistake in the future. Long story short, if you're craving Buffalo Wild Wings I STRONGLY suggest you eat at any other location than the 144th...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy fiance and I went to this BWW location because the one closest to our house (144th & Maple) always smells funny. We arrived a little after 8 o'clock on a Thursday and it wasn't very busy. It was steady, but not insanely busy at all. We put in our order for wings for the both of us and a side of potato wedges. It literally took 45 minutes for our waitress to bring out our food. When she put the wings on the table, she said something about the cheese on the wedges (didn't hear her very well being there is 1000 TV's on and the volume turned up so loud!) so she was having the cooks re-cook the wedges. Our food was obviously sitting there for a long time because the sauce on the wings, you could tell was dried out and they were luke warm. She brought out the wedges about 1 minute later (which should have been brought to us before our wings, anyway), and you could tell they had just microwaved them! The bottom of the paper bowl was steaming hot and the inside of the wedges were so hot we had to wait about 5 minutes to eat them, but they tasty rubbery like they would if they had been microwaved. I'm not sure if our waitress just completely forgot about us but it does not take over an hour to have a sit down meal of wings and an appetizer. On top of that, the store Manager was sitting at one of the tables eating in front of all the guests! This is so unprofessional to do! If he was going to eat while there were still numerous customers in the restaurant, he could have at least ate in the back. It was such a terrible experience & I heard at least two tables around us complain and had some of their stuff comped because of their bad experience as well. We had an event to go to so we ended up just eating our luke warm wings but hardly touched the nasty wedges. We didn't have time to complain and I was going to fill out the survey on our receipt but apparently you have to submit the survey within 48 hours of your visit. My fiance used to own a restaurant and we understand things get busy, but this was just pathetic! I think all BWW's have really gone down hill with the quality of food &...
