It is my daughterās 9th Birthday. She wanted Starbucks before her soccer game. We stopped by this location to get her a drink just about 15 minutes ago. When we arrived there was no one in line. The girl working, I believe her name is Mysteri B, Looks at me and doesnāt say a word. Grabs a ticket, grabs a cup and starts making a mobile order. I watch her do this. She washes the dishes she used and then begins to wipe the counter. I was patient until that point. I said excuse me are you ever going to help me. Her response was yes, I was just wiping the counter. I said I am a customer who is standing in front of you, I should be a priority. I said you didnāt even greet me. She said I had a mobile order. I said again, you didnāt greet me and the customer that is here already should take precedence. She didnāt apologize. Just stared at me while I told her what I needed. When she started making my drink she kept giving me dirty looks and slammed dishes. A couple had walked up and another lady. Then another worker walked in and immediately greeted the older couple and was super friendly. I do believe Mysteri was trying to bide time until the other girl got there before she helped me. Completely unacceptable. I frequent this Hy-VEE often as it is close to my home. This however was my 1st time at the Starbucks. It will be my last time as well. A simple hello and Iāll be right with you would have been perfect and none of this would have occurred. I did complain to a manager so hopefully they have a discussion with her. I had a teaching moment with my 9 year old daughter after this incident on the proper way to handle customers. So at least there was a positive in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSuch a disappointing Starbucks. Being new to the area, I am trying to find my third place and I continue to give this location an opportunity. Sadly, most of the staff is terribly uninterested in customers and there is a particular shift supervisor who consistently talks about things that are inappropriate at work (Saturday nights, family members with jail records, and very strong political views.) The most disturbing thing she constantly talks about is her store manager and hoe he does not do his job, doesn't write good schedules, and doesn't support the staff. The reason will of this is heard is because she never turns on the music for any of her shifts and there conversations become a monologue. This is the slowest Starbucks I have been to in years, and there is a reason. You can tell that this is a toxic place to work. At some point, a leader in this company will look at sales and the lack of customers who stay at the location inside and realize there is an issue. Please make this feel like a third place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time I've ever been disappointed at a Starbucks. I usually ask for a a pour-over if there is no French Roast or Pike's available. Fortunately they had a fresh pot marked "Dark Roast" that they had just brewed. They filled my cup and off I rushed. Two blocks away I took my first sip. Unfortunately it tasted like they had floated a teabag of coffee in the whole pot but never dipped it in. TERRIBLE, Starbucks, TERRIBLE! I returned two days later and let them know. They gave me a free cup. Starbucks needs to train their staff!...
