We've been trying all the different places in town for wings. A group of 10 of us went to Choo-Choo's tonight to celebrate my birthday and we will never go back. To start, the service was absolutely horrible. When we arrived at 5:30 the waitress told us the kitchen was backed up about 45 minutes, no big deal. She also told us all the other waitresses were super busy but she just had our table plus 1 other. 7:30 and we still don't all have our food. We ordered several appetizers, didn't get all of them, the gizzards were so overcooked that you couldn't chew them. The side salads that we asked for right away while they were making our food and then asked again for, finally came out when we asked a third time. For the 2 hours that we waited for our food, our drinks (mostly just pop and water) weren't refilled with the exception of the one time we were able to find her for refills. Finally when we got our food, it was not good at all. The boneless wings are breaded chicken breasts that look like chicken nuggets. We ordered spicy garlic and they came out with no sauce at all. They had some garlic powder and maybe some Parmesan cheese sprinkled on them. We asked the waitress about it and she told us it was a dry rub, the manager later told us it wasn't a dry rub but a sauce. The traditional wings we ordered mild and hot. When they were brought out (not at the same time) the waitress told us she was bringing the hot wings out, the person eating them mentioned that they weren't spicy at all but just continued on and then when she brought the other wings out that were actually the hot wings, she didn't understand why we couldn't just trade (1/2 of the first order was already gone). The burgers were so charred it was like they were burnt. When the manager or owner came out, he just took the plates that we told him there were problems with, took them off of our bill, and no offers to remake food, although that could have taken another hour. For us it was not at all about getting the food for free. Needless to say 3+ hours later when we left half of us had to go find...
Read moreZero stars for service would be more appropriate. First time months ago the waitress was only interested in her regulars and my friend and I had quite wait. The food was real good so we decided to try it again. We ordered our drinks and food in a reasonable time. Got the drinks but after 45 min still no food. In the meantime she had brought food to other tables, checked on them and when they were finished she even went and picked up their empty plates. I went up to the bar and asked if she could check for our order that we had been waiting 45 min. She said, oh I'm sorry, didn't I tell you we had a party in the other room? I said no you didn't but sill 45 min and no food? I asked her o check with the coke to see if our orders had been started because if they hadn't we were leaving. She came back from the kitchen and said he's starting your order next. I said don't bother. She didn't care whatsoever. Her regulars got their food so all was good....
Read moreWhere to start... we walked in and went straight to the patio to eat so we could smoke, waited 20 minutes until I walked up to the bar and asked if we could get help outside. I got "Well if you want drinks, you all have to come in and show your ID". I just wanted food, and said that, and she said "oh, that's fine". We waited an additional 20 minutes before we got fed up with not getting served. We complained, angrily but did not yell or swear, and we got "Uh okay?" As a response and as we walked out the door, she said "Whatever". This was the younger server, of course, not the older two. Regardless, worst service I've ever had. My friends and I are all 21 and older, and we leave amazing tips, so it's a shame that we get discriminated against in a place that really...
