Farmer Boys — Restaurant in Ontario

Came to order around 6:40am on June 11th. Order something simple, a mini cake platter and a sandwich without cheese and added avocado. Not only did the sandwich have cheese there was no avocado. I went back inside waited for almost 10 minutes to be attended because the cashier was taking tons of drive through orders. She had the audacity to look up a few times and not once say "I'll be with you shortly". Once she came to me she gave me attitude, I was shocked. I was explaining nicely, and I get this in return, for a mistake I didn't do. Not only that, she grabbed the sandwich from me and threw it away, I thought since covid they weren't supposed to do that. What if I was in contact with someone who had covid, she touched it, didn't wash her hands, and continue giving out others orders. Not only that, here was 3 more customers after and they waited no less than 2 minutes to get their order taken and they got a "I'll be right with you" while waiting. Oh and I still had to wait another 10 just so I can get a "m'am its right there" she couldn't even hand it to me or say sorry! This is genuinely the worse service I had ever received! The way she acted she should not be dealing with customers, she should be working in the back away from them! Oh since I waited so long the other food was cold, I had to throw...

I didn't actually eat at this restaurant but got incredible assistance from them! A family member had gone missing after last being seen at the Ontario airport, right up the street from this Farmer Boys. After making several missing person posts on several social media sites we received a response that someone fitting the missing family members description had been seen at the Farmer Boys earlier that day. My daughter drove there to see if the family was nearby still but when she didn't see them she went inside to ask employees if they remembered seeing the person. Unfortunately there had been a shift change since the morning. The manager on duty could not have been more kind and helpful! They offered to let us come in the next day so we could look at the video from the security cameras to see if we could see our loved one. They also took several fliers/photos to put up at the restaurant and for the managers office and promised to contact us if the person came to the restaurant again. I love Farmer Boys. I think the quality and service are better than most fast food restaurants. I have visited many Farmer Boys restaurants, but my first experience at this particular location was the best ever.

My BBQ chicken salad was fantastic, and they gave me extra barbecue sauce and ranch. Other orders in my party included fluffy pancakes with perfectly-seasoned sausage patties that did not have a metallic aftertaste like most sausage. The eggs were perfect.

The french toast had just the right amount of crispiness on the outside contrasted with a pillowy-soft inside and creamy, fresh-tasting butter that melted perfectly.

The Big Cheese burger combo was a great deal with a coupon for $7.99. The burger itself looked like the picture, and the fries were cooked to perfection with no greasy aftertaste.
