Starbucks — Restaurant in Ontario

So today we went to Starbucks at 7:45 AM we ordered a Trenta pink drink with sweet cream instead of coconut milk and five scoops of vanilla bean powder and light ice and I pacifically also had told the cashier that I had wanted a cheese danish and also order special request on the caramel macchiato anyways after we had placed the order and paid, so when I noticed a white chubby girl with red hair and glasses, she only scooped one tsp of vanilla bean powder and then when I try to get her attention, she completely ignore me so I went to the cashier that took my order and I told her about it and when she told the girl she acted like we were in the wrong and that she was doing everything correctly and then she noticed that she made a error, but felt like she was talking bad things about us I really couldn’t tell you because I couldn’t hear, but then after the cashier remade the drinks, I ask her “where are my cheese danishes “and she said that I never asked for it when I clearly did and she made me look like I’m in the wrong and then my caramel macchiato wasn’t properly made they had made something else but I decided to leave it like that because I had to leave. I normally don’t write reviews, but I’ve reached my limit with this Starbucks location. No matter how many times I order an iced matcha latte with light ice, they never get it right. Either the cup comes half-filled—or more—with ice, or on the rare occasion they actually follow the 'light ice' request, the drink ends up tasting like straight milk. There's barely any matcha flavor, and the color is so pale it almost looks like straight milk.

To be fair, the manager was very sweet when I brought this up. She happily remade the drink and explained that with light ice, there’s more room for milk, so it can dilute the flavor. She also let me know that Starbucks recently reduced the spoon size for matcha scoops, so she recommended I add extra scoops to get the taste I’m expecting.

I took her advice—and here I am again, ordering exactly that. Still not light ice. Still tastes like milk and ice, not matcha. At this point, I’m just tired. I don’t have this issue at other locations, but unfortunately, this one is closest to my job, which is the only reason I keep giving it another shot.

DESPERATELY NEEDED… I’m not a mega-coffee drinker but dang did my Venti Cold Brew taste good! I ordered it with only oat milk and it hit the spot after sleeping only 4 hours the night before. My drink wasn’t jam packed with ice or light on the caffeine, they give you your full money’s worth here. The shop looked clean and had PLENTY of indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a newer Starbucks and I’m really digging this new design Starbucks is adding to their latest shops.
