Honest opinion about this place! Their mixed drinks are overpriced BUT good. I went with my buddies and my buddy got TWO mixed drinks for $12 EACH! That’s $24!!! That’s WAYYY too much in my opinion. $12 isn’t the price for every specialty drink but it could at least give you an idea of what the price is for MOST of their drinks. It felt like the alcohol was missing too…. That’s why people drink, for the buzz!!! That’s basically the cost of two meals you can get if you are on a budget. When I go here I usually get smash burgers, wraps, Mac n cheese, and other specialty items. The burgers look cool with a great presentation but lack seasoning. I don’t know what it is but I’ve tried a lot of their burgers and they don’t season them, I swear. The wraps are tasteless too. Again, I LOVE the presentation of the food but the flavor just isn’t there for me. Now, their Mac n cheese and nachos are amazing! Really good flavor, well seasoned, and filling. Those are one of the few entrees that are good in my opinion. Another thing is the service…. Again, my honest opinion. I went on a Friday night with my buddy, brother, and I, and we got seated around 6:45pm. We ordered an app which came out 5 minutes after our order which was fast. But after we ordered our food, we waited for over an hour. I remember it was around 7pm we ordered our food and we got our food at around 8:30pm. My brother, buddy, and I were more so frustrated at this point. The staff were bringing out chips and salsa for people that were waiting too long. We were included in this. That was nice of them but still not enough to make us feel better. Basically, a Friday night and Saturday night I would NOT recommend going. During the DAY on Friday and Saturday should be fine. On the busy nights of Friday and Saturday, the service was just awful. Now on the weekdays, it is perfection, I’d highly recommend going anytime during the week. Any day but Friday or Saturday, haha. Overall, the place looks NICE, I love the vibe, and they have a good amount of TV’s to watch sports. Again, they need to change their recipes or something because it feels like half the menu is lacking flavor. Call me picky but the food just needs more flavor. Ultimately, if you want a good burger go to Sun King brewery, I’ve been there plenty and the burgers over there top any restaurants I feel. Their burgers are seasoned to perfection. Probably the best in town...
Read moreWe definitely won't be back.
There was four of us and a baby. The AC must have been broken because it was hot and stuffy in there and we were there for 2 hours.
We had made a reservation and got there a little before our reservation and was sat down immediately. We sat there for 5 minutes before our server greeted us and asked what we would like for drinks. After he gave us our drinks he disappeared and was gone for 15 minutes before he came back and asked us if we wanted appetizers.
It took 20 minutes for fried pickles and mushrooms to come to our table and our server still hadn't taken our actual order. The appetizers were okay but nothing to brag about. We finished our appetizers and 10 minutes later he finally appeared and took our order. He then disappeared again and after 35 minutes of waiting, he popped by our table and said thank you for being so patient and then disappeared again. 10 minutes later another server brought us our food. We're in an hour and 35 minutes in at this point.
My husband ordered the fried blue gill, it looked like a kids happy meal from McDonald's. The blue gill was over cooked and not worth $26. I ordered the wagu steak. The description of this steak is looks like a sirloin and tastes like a filet. That's is definitely an inaccurate description. It was the size of a 6oz sirloin but was thin and tasted like precooked fajita steak strips. It was overcooked and to top it off my meal overall was lukewarm. My son ordered the tacos, he didn't really care for them, my husband said that it was at least better than the fried blue gill. My mother-in-law ordered a black bean burger and said hers was great! So I guess maybe they're a great burger place but their dinner entrees are not worth the price.
After about 15 minutes we finished eating the crappy food because well after waiting an hour and 35 minutes we were hungry and now we had been there for an hour and 50 minutes.
Overall disappointed because we had heard great things about this place and thought it would be a nice place to take my mother-in-law for her birthday. $150 dollars was our bill. We had to flag down another server to get our bill so that we could leave. While my husband was signing the receipt, our server had walked up to us and asked us if we wanted any desserts. This was 10 minutes after we had finished eating and I had already put our baby in her car seat and left...
Read more50/50 chance you will have a good/bad experience. There were highs & lows to our first visit here last Saturday 11/23. Atmosphere definitely could have been better...they put 2 different size tables together for our party of 5 & they sat us extremely close to another table when there was plenty of room to the other side of us & plenty of other tables available as well. Alana was our waitress & she was super sweet but not helpful with choosing drinks or food. She was under 21 so she hadn't tried anything we asked about & told us she was a very picky eater & didn't like most of the items on the menu. Appetizers we tried were the loaded nachos with chicken & also onion rings. Most of the nachos tasted stale & the onion rings were lightly breaded & very crispy...they seemed over cooked. My sister & I ordered the Cod Poboy, I ordered fries & she ordered tots...both of these sides came out cold. The sandwich was delicious though. The others in our group ordered the Baja Chicken Bowl, Pot Roast Dinner & Brown Sugar & Bourbon Maple Glazed Salmon. Chicken bowl was fine but the rice & veggies with the salmon & the pot roast were cold & the piece of pot roast had a huge section of fat on it. We always try desserts at the new restaurants we visit…we tried the apple crisp & brownie, both were served with a scoop of ice cream…both were very good! We ran into some friends that were also dining at the restaurant & after speaking with them later found out they had issues with the food they ordered as well. Maybe we all were there on an off night for the kitchen staff or there was a problem we weren’t aware of??? Not sure but I’m not willing to waste my hard earned money on a...
