Made from Scratch Bake Shoppe — Restaurant in Oostburg

We were recently married (March 2025) and we found "Made from Scratch Bake Shoppe” on Google. I must say working with Carol and Halle the owners of Baked From Scratch was a breeze. They replied to our requests quickly either by phone or email with accurate information and wonderful suggestions.

Originally my wife and I wanted to provide our guests with cupcakes, after reviewing their website they have a product that is much better, more polished and tastes incredible. They are called “Mini Cakes.” Their cakes are one of the best I have ever tasted. They have a large variety of flavors and can customize the look of the cakes. We had a guest that we knew had issues with gluten. Bake from Scratch has gluten free options which do not taste like they are gluten free at all. I could not tell the difference between those cakes that are gluten free from the "regular" cakes.

The morning of our wedding, Carol and Halle delivered and set up the dessert table that made the cakes look even more amazing. Many of our guests commented how beautiful and tasty our mini cakes were.

We hired Made from Scratch for our wedding on June 22nd and they were AMAZING. Every cake we tried was so delicious and also looked incredible! The designs they do for their tiered cakes and cake cups/mini cakes are stunning. They are so unique and add so much character. Everyone we talked to at Made from Scratch was also wonderful and super communicative. There made all of our visions come to life. I could not recommend them enough! Oh my goodness, 10/5 stars 🤩. Halle and Carol were incredible. Everytime we saw Carol it felt like we were visiting a family member. She is SO welcoming and sweet, just like her baking. She made sure that she took detailed notes about how we wanted the cakes decorated and set out. We did a cutting cheesecake and mini cakes and they were DIVINE! We got surprised with cakes almost everytime we visited, and plan on using made from scratch to celebrate every birthday, anniversary, or ya know, Tuesday!!
