From the moment you walk in, you know you're in for a treat! First of all, the smell when you enter is fabulous! It smells amazing-- vanilla, fresh sugar, sweet cinnamon-- like a warm brilliant energy just waiting for you! We stopped on a Saturday morning in winter, and we were helped right away by a welcoming young lady. Oostburg Bakery has a good size variety of sugared and a few non-sugared items for all different pallets. Decided on a couple of long johns, a cinnamon twist, and a cinnamon bun. All were delicious and devoured within minutes. There was parking on the main Street, and there is a small staircase when entering the building. Prices seem very reasonable, especially for the great quality. Would come back again if we're in the area.

Small Town bakery that nails it "old school"! Nothing off a good connoisseur magazine here, just darn good baked goods that don't put you in the poor house! It's a friendly family operation that puts out really good bakery while treating there customers well. It has become a favorite of ours. The only issue you may find is what products they have on the day your going. We usually just wing it, but I'm sure you can always order ahead....like that apple pie waiting on my counter for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow!

My son and I took an early morning road trip to Oostburg Bakery as part of our bakery tour of Wisconsin efforts. Founded in 1929 with updates to the fascia and cases seemingly from the 50's or 60's, the doughnuts were really good. The employees were all masked (not all the customers were). The bakery in the back was huge and still has what appears to be the original hardwood floors. My faves were the elephant ears, the cinnamon roll coffee cake, and the cream filled "mud pie". A+

I needed a cake for a birthday and had reached out to them 2 months ahead of time. I emailed them pictures of how I wanted the cake to look like and they told me they would be able to replicate it. Very disappointed with how the cake turned out. I could've done a better job decorating it myself. They even charged me more than what they normally would due to the "intricate" designs on the cake. The intricate designs looked like something a kid could make while playing with play dough and not all the details were even on this cake. This was my first time with this bakery, and it...
