First time here, order carne asada a la parilla. I sat directly in front of the small kitchen window. Over heard the cook say " tenemos carne asada"? The waiter/cashier went in and showed her something. The cook looked confused and said OK. When I got home I realized they just gave me fried steak (bistec frito). Shortly after placing my order I decided I wanted mofongo as well. As I watched my cook prepare the mofongo she ate fries and grabbed ingredients for my mofongo with her bare hands. Thankfully we came upon this fantastic Dominican spot hidden in the middle of an industrial area. Our waitress was quick, efficient and very friendly. As soon as we walked in, we were informed of food that is ready and our bellies were hungry, so we jumped on this opportunity.
As for my order, I had oxtail with rice and beans and Presidente beer to cap it off.
