Romo’s Place Restaurant — Restaurant in Opa-locka

I couldn't believe that a place that looks like a warehouse was so interesting/elegant inside. As soon as I arrived I was greeted with a sample of the best Churrasco (Skirt Steak) cooked fresh on the BBQ outside before I even got inside... The staff and owners were very nice, I felt right at home. I wanted something healthy but couldn't say no to that skirt steak so they made me the BEST CHURRASCO WRAP EVER!!! They gave me a little of both, a meal that was healthy and satisfying with a delicious mixed natural fruit Juice. I have become a loyal customer since and have brought friends and family on Friday nights as well. ooOOh almost forgot when the Miami Heat play or any Miami Team they put it on their big TV's which can be seen from any seat! Today I was looking for a place I could go with my son and have lunch. We found RoMo’s Restaurant as we got off the car we could smell the meat grill and smoker and the sweet smell of the grilling meat drew us in .. the service was great we were sat immediately, the drinks were great and my son and I order 2 version of Churrasco OMG best choice it melted in our mouths is that broiled which I is exclusively done by the restaurant’s owner, then we had desert I asked for the guava flan it was delicious you knew it was flan but that guava flavor came thru without overpowering the taste oh the flan, and then we got the bill was so reasonable I can wait to go back. I’ve been eating at Romo’s since they opened. Eloy, Mercy and the rest of the staff, have consistently provided a welcoming and fun environment with some of the best food you will find in South Florida. The churrasco is the best anywhere along with the pork chunks (masas de puerco) and pretty much every main plate and accompaniments. The sandwiches are delicious as are the desserts. You can also just stop by and have a cafecito and you’re bound to enjoy a good conversation with one of the owners who will come by your table to ensure all is well. I recently ordered a lechón, congris, and maduros and yuca meal for 10 for the holidays and the food was absolutely spectacular. The lechon sandwiches the next day were just as good.
