The Roadhouse — Restaurant in Orange City

We tried this place 3 times. The first time our food was mediocre at best. The 2nd time we had a party of 12+ for a friends bday where the owner made some rude comments to our group. They were also so slow at taking our order/so fast at making our food that the first people that ordered in our group got there food before the last people even had their order taken. Now not having to wait long for food is good but only if the food is good. They obviously have low quality food here that they can rush through the kitchen. The fish was overcooked, the burgers had a burnt flavor to them, and the mac n chz was bland.

The 3rd time we ate here was with another group of 12+ people for a friends going away party. The owner again made some rude comments to us as we got sat. We then saw a group of 8-10 females ask to pull two tables together which was allowed. After this we asked if we could pull two tables together which our waitress said she needed to get the owner for. The owner came to our table and we asked to pull two tables together his response was, "I'm just going to give you the short answer, no." And walked away from us before we could even respond.

After these experiences we will never be going back here. The food is quantity over quality and the owner is rude/not...

We dined in as a party of 8 plus a baby this past Sunday evening. The restaurant was busy and very clean. I didn't feel like it was too loud even with all our kids. The chairs at the tables, which I know are from the previous establishment are so uncomfortable so it makes the kids ( and us adults too) a bit antsy and they want to shift and get up a lot instead of sitting nicely. :/ The staff were friendly and Josiah our server was amazing! My daughter and I have pork allergies and he made sure to effectively communicate between us and the kitchen staff. No allergic reactions were experienced so BRAVO!!!! He did forget a few things we asked for but understandable being as newly open and busy...he was quick to fix it though!! We tried the shakes both alcoholic and non. They were good but a tad pricey. We were disappointed so many items were out but again it was understandable. The food we did order was so delicious...literally my favorite mac and cheese by far from around here...We are a picky group sometimes but overall had a great experience and can't wait to come back and try other...

Nice atmosphere. We decided to dine outside since it was such a nice day. I had the American Cheeseburger. It was excellent! I also ordered the elote corn salad, not much flavor needed some spice and more mayo to make it taste a little closer to Mexican Elote (chili powder maybe). My wife had the brisket sandwich, also excellent (I tried a bite). She said her Mac n cheese side was dry though. While sitting out side we were asked to order from our phone, which was fine. I accidentally ordered and failed to put patio in the first name. I went to the bar to let them know what I did and to pick up my drinks. She quickly got my drinks and said she would let the staff know we were at the patio. After waiting quite awhile I went back in to check on our food to find out they made it to go. We went ahead and ate outside. I would have been nice to have wait staff check outside from time to time. I volunteered at 20% tip for waiting on myself, but that...
