Do yourself a favor and grab some food from here! I’m uncertain if the claim that the food is anything less than stellar or somehow believes no one knows “good pizza” was made by someone having a bad day or what. I had a horrible day today, after spending the bulk of the day at the hospital, we stopped here on the way home and I was surprised and so happy to see a family of familiar faces. We love this family! Their many successful family owned and operated businesses ALWAYS exceed our expectations and they are truly great people. Just as an FYI they are absolutely authentic experts in Italian cuisine and have expanded this locations menu to include some comfort foods. The pizza was perfect and reminds me of my Uncle’s pizza place in New York, the bbq burger was the size of a plate and perfectly done, thick fries and the fried pickles were the best I’ve ever had. Very clean, very friendly and the pride is evident. You won’t regret eating here! Keep up the...
Read moreI was so excited when I heard we were getting Gino’s! If you like Luigi’s in Culpeper, you’re going to love Gino’s.
The phone was answered within a few rings, the parking lot was packed, and the restaurant was buzzing with both dine-in customers and takeout orders. Despite the crowd, I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and to my surprise, my order was ready right on time.
I had a few special requests, and every single one of our six orders was spot on—huge win! My only “tiff” was the chicken fingers are actually just a sliced-up chicken filet, which didn’t impress my toddler. But the Works, blackened chicken sandwich, and super special sub? So good! The mozzarella sticks were just okay, but overall, Gino’s is off to a great start.
Madison doesn’t have a lot of restaurants that last, let alone good ones, so I really hope this one sticks around! I didn’t take any photos because we were so...
Read moreWe were passing through Madison with a one night layover at a local campground and grabbed a dine-in dinner at Gino's. We were very happy with what we found! Two personal pizzas, a sweet tea, and a glass of red wine (what was the winery?, It was quite good.), and we enjoyed every item! The pizza crust was crisp and tasty. They allowed a topping swap on my veggie (no olives or mushrooms, but add artichoke). Delicious. The sweet tea filled a void after a day of travel, and the restaurant was clean with friendly service. (One constructive tip - Wipe down that front door, as it was feeling a bit sticky). We were even impressed with the high quality and large paper napkins - a simple but nice touch at a small-town pizza joint. If we pass through again, we will very likely return. The best of luck to you for your business. You are an asset to...
