Pizza Star & Restaurant — Restaurant in Orbisonia

Called in and ordered a kids' meal, a sub, and a Stromboli with the meat sauce on the side. When I got there, a nice lady took my payment and I started checking the food. The kids' meal was missing and my side of meat sauce. The kids' meal was brought to me immediately, and the owner told me the meat sauce was in the Stromboli. I reminded him that I ordered it on the side and he said he would bring me one for the side. I didnt want the sauce inside, so this didnt fix my problem. The lady at the front could see I wasn't happy and she asked if I'd like to have it made again, and SHE made sure to get it done for me. I went to give her back the mess up, and she told me to just keep it, which made the situation better. 15 minutes later, he brought me the remake and grabbed the messed up order. The lady in the front was the only good part about this place. The owner was dismissive and irritated at the fact that he messed up my order. He made sure it either went to the staff or trash before the customer who was done wrong. I get home and the Stromboli is STILL made wrong. I called to see what they could do and the man on the phone got an attitude with me and accused me of lying. He hung up the phone on me. I wanted sausage, pepperoni, and cheese inside. This Stromboli has 1 layer of pepperoni and 2 layers of ham. 1 star...

So I read the reviews and noticed 2 out 3 people (up to 3-4-18) rated 1 star did not mentioned anything about the place nor the food. The one person mentioned a mistake the lady did due to misunderstanding. I travel all over the US and I've eaten in many and different places. I ordered a medium stromboli. Which it was waay to big for myself. I saw them making it FRESH! which you don't see that almost anywhere. Ham, pepperoni, cheese and a little bit of spices that come together to give you a reminder of what a true stromboli should taste like. Crispy on the outside, soft and relaxing taste inside. Just the right amount of ingredients. I hope people from out of town come to try true Italian food. The person preparing my Stromboli was the actual owner, and he told me he had 3 restaurants, the first one opened in 1980. Great taste, I highly...

RUN AWAY! My family and I were traveling through the area and stopped for lunch. The waitress literally Slammed gray yard sale type plastic plates on the table. We ordered an appetizer sampler (fried food that tasted like old grease ..could not eat), a ham and cheese hoagie ( gross hard bread could not eat), and 2 slices of pizza ( disgusting bits of sausage could not eat). Again, the waitress slammed the food on the table. The final straw was taking the bill up to pay. Be careful here because they will try to overcharge you!!
