Alfano's Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Oregon - Nashua Township

I just want to give a shout out to Alfano’s in Oregon. It was just my boys and I tonight and I was trying to make something simple and cute that followed the “pizza of my heart” valentines theme. After attempting to make our own pizzas and my boys voicing that they were not interested in making or eating homemade pizza I turned to our go to favorite. We live out in lost nation and I know it’s a haul sometimes and with tonight’s weather I felt horrible after placing my order and seeing the weather getting progressively worse. All I could do is pray at this point that our driver makes it safely. I was so relieved when I saw him pull into the driveway.

Some people really don’t take for granted the delivery drivers who are usually the ones to make it through any weather. To the delivery driver tonight. I don’t know you but I hope you make it back okay and thank you again for our life...

I am from Peoria, Illinois and am visiting Oregon, Illinois. This is my first time at Alfano's and it was excellent. My server was also the owner's daughter and was literally serving every table in the restaurant. In spite of this I still had NO WAIT to be served or to receive my food and the place was packed, even on a Thursday night.( apparently locals know this is a great place to eat) My server/owner's daughter greeted many people coming in by name. Not only was service and food great, but the prices were very reasonable. The only reason my price was in the 20 to 30 range was because I had a couple of glasses of wine, otherwise would have been 10 to 20 range. I highly recommend Alfano's and will definitely be returning the next time...

We ordered a pizza and salad for pick up and were told it would be ready in 30 minutes. We were there in 40 minutes and I told them what my order was, someone said ok, then walked away. No one said anything about if it was ready or anything else to me for the 25 minutes I stood there holding my debit card (even though several workers were about 4 feet away the entire time I stood there). The salad was made as I stood there and the pizza was brought up 10 minutes later, contrary to the belief that everything would be ready when I got there. The pizza was ok but all the toppings were slid off the pizza when we opened the box. The chicken salad had large chunks of inedible head lettus and lacked other ingredients. I would not recommend...
