Something out of the city. A good stop on the way to the mountain. Pros were service speed, portions, and price. Staff are friendly and everything looked nice. Don't assume this is a breakfast restaurant. It's a Chinese restaurant with a breakfast menu. I can only speak to the breakfast menu. As usual we ordered the eggs Benedict and biscuit and gravy. The Benedict was a traditional affair, good thickness on the hollandaise, but very standard balance of flavors. It won't wow you. The gravy on the biscuits and gravy... Ok, its my estimation that it isn't from a can. Good thickness, actual sausage. The flavor is the downfall. There really isn't any. It's bland, it's cooked flour sauce served on baked flour cakes. Disappointing, but not something that will keep me from trying this place again.

Nice diner experience. Food was well above average, priced right ($8-$12 plates) and large portions. Service was excellent and food came out pretty quick. They have a bar but it's separated by a wall so it was not noticeable when eating with kids. Menu highlights: Burgers, Cashew Chicken, BBQ pork noodle soup (pictured) and kids Menu has mashed potatoes and gravy! If you are driving to or from Mt. Hood this is the stop. Come eat!

I was craving Chinese food and wanted to find somewhere close and I am SO glad I found this place. When we walked in we were hit with the delicious smells. I was already hungry and that made me even more hungry. I was able to get exactly what I wanted, including the sauces how I would have done them. It was perfect. My son got some vegetable fried rice, we didn't think it'd be such a huge portion. Can't wait to come back.

We went here on a Sunday night with a party of 11. We felt the service was very short and rushed. When we first came in it took about 10 minutes to be acknowledged by the staff (it was just two of us though so I understand how we could be missed) when the waitress was taking our order she didn’t even bother to ask all of us what we wanted to drink she just said ā€œI’ll just get you all watersā€ not bothering to get us anything else to drink. To be fair to the waitress though we do have a loud group so I can understand how you get frustrated when you have to talk over people. Moving onto our meal you could very clearly tell the food was pre-made, most likely frozen. And the most telling fact was that all of our food came out 10 minutes after ordering. I understand to some people that may be ā€œamazing serviceā€ but when we ordered 10+ dishes it shouldn’t be able to come that fast. Then, after we were wrapping up our meal the waitress started to take our plates before we were done, she even took some of the dishes with food still on it, and then after she took those dishes she hovered over us until we left. I understand we are a large group but it was only 7 pm so they still had 2 hours of opening and we were the only group there (excluding the bar) so they definetly had time to serve us and didn’t need the table so there was no reason to be rushed out of the restaurant that quickly with such low quality food. However the bar seemed to be poppin! And the barista was quite friendly and made nice conversation so she is the reason why we are giving 2 stars...

When I called to place 2 seperat orders to go,the woman who answered took my first order and tried to dismiss me. I explained I had one more order for my friend. She took that order then rudely said " is that all? I have a customer calling on the other line." I was suprised because I thought me and my friend where customers. I ordered the egg foo young patty, rice and crab puffs. When we arrived to pick up our food they had put both our orders together When we wanted them seperat to pay seperat. When I explained that's why we did 2 seperat orders the lady at the register made a big deal of how this was inconvenient for her. When we got our food, I asked for the yellow mustard I love so much she told me they didn't have any. I didn't get a fork either. I ate my food with my fingers because I did not want to go back there at all I didn't feel welcome or even that my buisness was appreciated. The egg Foo young patty was absolute mush. Not what I expected. The rice had a burnt flavor to it. And my friend, when she opened her food they had given her 1 packet of that yellow mustard they told me they didn't have. I will not be going back there. Ever. I regretted giving them a tip. But I just call it my severance deposit. The last dime they will...
