The pizzas good but the customer service is really inconsistent and I've had the worst luck with these young girls attempting to successfully run a business. If the hours are posted open till 9:00 but they don't take orders past a quarter after 8:00 and they start closing up shop then that's false advertising. You guys need to change your hours or teach the staff to not start closing the kitchen until closer to 9:00. I was also informed as if it were store policy that if I call by 7:15 and they still have individual slices left I can have them hold those slices until closing for me to come in and pick up. Like I said after many frustrating interactions I was told that by a staff member and the next time I call requested slices came in to get them by 8:15 and the worker said she threw them all away and I was absolutely beside myself, like why didn't she at least call me from the number I had called from to tell me she was going to do that at least? And became argumentative, not willing to have a productive conversation of me suggesting that she discussed with her co-workers that they inform customers with consistent information and if it's not a policy that they practice I shouldn't have been told I could do that anytime calling holding slices coming in before closing. The amount of attitude that was given from these teenagers was remarkable, takes a lot for me to complain but I was hangry & left very very disappointed! ( I wish I knew the one workers name that did tell me to call to have slices held because she out of the whole staff was an absolute delight and was kind and generous and patient and made me want to come back and she deserves praise)- because treating your customers with respect and grace will win customers over 10-fold /compared to the rest of the attitude I've been experiencing from the rest of the young, negative -attitude- filled, impatient girls working there that now has equated in a negative review, unfortunately. Think it's time for a staff meeting so you can get your crew on board in order to inform and treat your customers equally with consistent information & correct...

To the owners: Are you money hungry jerks? Every weekend the girls are overwhelmed. There isn't enough help and it was 87 degrees in there! They were working in agony - get the A/C looked at...my dad owned a pizza shop and it shouldn't be this hot in there - it's nacceptable to employees and customers.
Facts: I decided to give Sparkys another shot. I ordered online. I waited the 25 mi utes it said it would take. I arrive and there are a ton of people waiting. I give my name and they say it'll be a while. I wait 25 mins and check again. "We have no order under that name." I show the email receipt. "Oh, it just came up on my computer.". I decline and go to DQ...its been an hour now and the pizza wasn't even started.
Original Review: Sparky's used to be THE pizza place to get a good pie. But something has changed.
The parmesan schticks had no parmesan and were super doughy. I wasn't offered any dipping sauce either.
The crust on the Uncle Leo was terrible and there weren't half the toppings there used to be on a pie.
What the hell happened to this place?
So this leaves us with Papa Murphys (uggh) or Papa Johns in Gresham... Both used to suck compared to Sparky's but now they both are better which...
Read moreWent in for my first time tonight... 3/24, i was extremely impressed!!!!! Young lady behind the counter was very sweet and tentative, give her a raise! Food came out relatively fast, well put together and the right amount of toppings.... no lack there of! 10 of 10 all day!
Edit: After my first experience I realized how poorly ran this location is. I must have gotten lucky on my first experience. I didn't pay attention to hours of operation to when they open... what pizza joint isn't open at lunch time!? Extremely disappointing (Papa Murphys for the win!) Me and my wife tried two more times and it's the quality of ingredients that kills this location aside from only being open so little hours in a day. The quality of the product doesn't taste fresh like it sits around to long due to lack of sales.
Do yourself a favor and just go to Papa Murphys... they open sooner and taste fresher for a...
