First, the good: I want to say that many of the food carts here had wonderful, varied menus to choose from with delicious smells to match, and most were very friendly. I went on a Saturday afternoon with my mother and we sampled from 3 of the 5-6 carts that were there. The pizza was amazing - very tasty straight from the brick oven they cook with on-site. Yum! The Mexican food was also super yummy overall. We had one of the most fabulous Chile Relleno that either of us had ever enjoyed; the beans and salad that accompanied were also tasty, but I'd skip the rice next time (dry and tasteless).

Second, the okay: We also ordered from the sushi cart here - superlong wait time (quoted 20mins, waited 35+), and while they do have an interesting menu, unless you have a undying love for spicy mayo on everything, I'd say 'pass'. Every single poke bowl included spicy mayo or teriyaki - coming from Hawaii, that's just sacrilege. I can't speak to the freshness of the fish, since I couldn't taste any of it - just spicy mayo. I did actually ask for the spicy mayo to be put on-the-side (because there are some items I don't mind it on - a spicy ahi roll, for example) for my order, but instead I was given EXTRA spicy mayo on-the-side. I really didn't want to figure out how long it would take them to rectify the mistake, so I took the spicy mayo bathed "sushi". It was fairly standard pricing for sushi of 11 dollars/item, average.

In between our visits to the food carts, we also stopped at the beer tap bar that is also on-site; few interesting choices, with most being from 10Barrel and Domestic options. They had 1 Elysian Hazy IPA, which is what we chose. The people working behind the bar were friendly and efficient while pouring pints. They did run out of actual pint glasses and instead began pouring 12oz Solos for the same price. Not impressed.

Third, the "Ugly": Your opinion on this next part will greatly depend on your appreciation of, or disdain for, safety practices regarding Covid-19 and Delta Variant.

Only two of the businesses that we visited had proper protocols in place - all staff wearing masks, hand sanitizer available for pre- and post-purchases, napkins(!), etc. Those two carts were the pizza and Mexican carts - THANK YOU FOR CARING ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS MORE THAN POLITICS!

Otherwise, a general disregard for safety practices is what I witnessed during my visit, both by other patrons and by staff running the pod/carts. There were at least 50-100 people there (live music - which was nice) - all without masks or proper ability to social distance with the volume of people that were there. NO ONE in the sushi cart (x3+ people) were wearing masks nor did they provide any option to sanitize hands after using their touchscreen payment system, and NO ONE in the beer bar were wearing masks (x4 staff). The beer bar is mostly enclosed, and had TONS of people sitting inside it, all sans masks. Oh, btw, if you want to visit the potty, you have to walk through the ridiculously crowded bar of 'Rona to get there. Just sayin'. Sadly, I will not return as a patron here. If I did want food, I would pre-order and pick it up to-go. I was uncomfortable the entire time, just hoping I didn't bring disease home to my...

I was so excited to try this Ronin Sushi and initialyhad a great experience with the owner that took my order. I ordered 2 poke bowls (1 salmon, 1 ahi), a yellow tail roll, veggie roll and the salmon and mango roll. They called my name and I went to the cart to retrieve my order. I was confused because I had only 1 large and 1 small box so I opened the lids to see what was in them. I let the woman know that I was missing 2 poke bowls and this was only rolls. She reviewed my order and said there was only 1 poke order and she would call me later ok. When I looked again before I left the counter since they had missed the other order: I realized there was a spider roll that I didn't order so I let her know that must have been meant for someone else and I was still missing the yellowtail the guy I placed the order with turned around and yelled, yes YELLED at me repeatedly I front of a line of customers that I was wrong and that he "went over this 3 times" with me. Yes Sir, we did go over this 3 times and you were wrong . Instead of just fixing the order or offering me a refund, they reprimanded me again and told me they would refund my $7 for the spider roll, but that if I wanted the yellowtail roll I originally ordered (which I would have been more than happy to say the $3 difference if I wasn't charged for it originally), that I could go to the back of the line and order again. Ummm...thanks? No. Not only will I not wait for your food now,I won't ever again. I was seriously so shocked at his attitude that I didn't even im now how to react. I literally just stood there in shock. This was such an atypical experience in Central Oregon and I literally never leave bad reviews but they had every opportunity to make sure a misunderstanding and $7 turned into a great review and...

Slow service, and indifferent workers of the three different food trucks we tried. One meal didn't come until about 25 minutes after the rest of ours had been served from the other trucks, but they were all at least a 30 minute wait (So nearly an hour on the one...)

The food was decent, not exceptional, and the prices were on the high side for what we got. Not sure if that's due to inflation, or the privilege of eating out of a food truck.

Drinks were quick and cold. Nice service from them. Good selection too. It made the wait on our food barrable.

Atmosphere was fun and everyone there seemed to be having a good time. Seating was tight, but people were sharing tables and generally enjoying each other's company. It made it fun.

There was a continual line at the bathrooms. They could use a couple more of those if the ever did a remodel. Parking wasn't bad. The lot was packed, but the is plenty of close parking on the streets in the area.

Overall a decent dining experience. I wouldn't have wanted to wait the amount of time we did if it was winter. Hopefully things will get better...

Unfortunately I had a bad experience here at this restaurant. Right after work I went to the burger place there and commuted to Bend (can’t remember the name of the place). When I got home, exhausted and hungry I bit into the burger and it was super cold and gross. Thankfully I was able to get a refund, the owner did what good business owners should do and took responsibility for the employees’ oversight. But, it literally and figuratively put a bad taste in my mouth. The atmosphere of the place is nice. And I would go back and try other food truck stands.

This is such a fun place! Very nicely done and everyone seemed to be having a great time. There was plenty of seating and we were able to bring our dog in with us. They served beer and there was plenty of different trucks to choose from. We had Westside Tacos. Very unique and flavorful! The blueberry brisket taco and the root beer carnitas taco were both delicious. My only critique is they don’t have a designated pickup area at this particular truck so if there is a line of people ordering, it’s hard to get to your order for pickup when it’s ready.
