Went out with my husband and in-laws last night. I ordered the special which was porkchops and when asked what I wanted for a side I asked for mashed potatoes. My father in law got country fried steak with mashed potatoes for his side, my mother in law got the pot pie and my husband got the biscuit stacker. We were all super hungry and food started coming out I anxiously awaited my food but was confused when it came out as when my food came out it came out with a baked potato that looked awful and underdone and the pork chops were thin and burnt to hell. My father in law had mashed potatoes on his plate and when I asked the waitress why the mistake as my whole family heard me polietly ask for mashed potatoes she took my food back to ask the kitchen and then came back out with the same plate that i had sent back and apologized but the kitchen said that they were out of mashed potatoes I then eyed my father in laws plate with mashed potatoes on it clearly confused as he had mashed potatoes on his plate and he had ordered after me. The waitress seeing my confusion and disappointment then tried offering me other sides which should have been done before all the food came out they just assumed and added a baked potato to my plate without asking me what i would have prefered when they realized they only had one serving of mashed potatoes left. I sent my order back after looking at the plate again because the pork chops were very thin and very burnt and the baked potato looked under done and asked the waitress if i could get something else because my order was disappointing and went with my mother in laws recommendation the chicken pot pie. The waitress obliged and went and put my new order in. I had to sit and watch my family eat before me. When the pot pie came I was also dissatisfied because it tasted like it was canned soup poured over biscuits. Both my husband and I got food poisoning as well. This was terrible for...

This is the second time we visited. We came in for Valentines night around 630p. It was awful. The wait was 15 min or more. When they sat us we waited over 15 min for water and coffee. They informed the table behind us they were short staffed. We waited for part of our food (charcuterie board) to come out 20min later it was brought out on a small paper plate. Then we had to ask for refills of the water and coffee. We asked one of the ladies to please put a piece of cheesecake (which was (Costco cheesecake) aside, she never responded. The lady with the pink heart glasses was amazing. She came over and assured us the dessert was waiting for us As we waited over 30 min for dinner (in which they informed us there was no more bake potatoes) they finally brought mine out. My food was on the cooler side and the prime rib was awful. No flavor, no juice, and tough as leather. I waited over15 min for a knife (they had to go back and wash one) I was so upset I could not eat the prime rib. The corn was disgusting no flavor. I told the waitress it was awful. She said the manager would only take $19 off which I felt was a slap in the face. Small salad, small cold sweet potatoe fries some lunch meat and crackers, and Costco cheesecake did not justify $36. It was VALENTINES! We barely get time away from the kids, and it was ruined! I did appreciate the ladies telling us they were sorry. That was the only reason we gave 2 stars! To start, just want it clear that the waitress was the sweetest most helpful waitress I've ever met. She was the highlight of the entire visit to the restaurant other than reminiscing at it once being Farols. I was super excited to try this restaurant for the first time and couldn't be more “upset” at the cook. I didn't realize how small the steak would be so I ordered a second steak and paid extra. Well the "chef" very loudly shouted how "what was wrong with her steak? Was it not rare enough" ( it was RAW) and the sweet waitress said no she just didn't realize how small it was and wanted a second one" to which this absolut JERK states "oh it wasn't cooked wrong it just was big enough for her". No it wasn't because your supposed "8oz" steak in a the meal wasn't big enough. So I paid TEN MORE DOLLARS FOR AN EVEN SMALLER CUT. We boxed our food, paid our tab and left. We were sitting in front of the kitchen and the entire restaurant could hear him shouting. Absolutely disrespectful but the two stars are for my salad and the waiting staff. My husbands burger tasted pre frozen and rounded Pattie's from Safeway. But why complain and get a new one if the cook is gonna be an absolute tool from the start.
