Papa Romano's Pizza & Mr. Pita — Restaurant in Orion Charter Township

Extremely disappointed and frustrated with this Mr Pita. I want to first say, my family and I have been eating Mr Pita for well over 10 years. We have always ordered Mr Pita for any type of party/gathering. Since moving, my original pita location is just way to far. I found this one and I placed my order at least a week before the party. The young lady taking my order was friendly and went back over my order for me which were three pita platters mixed with different pitas (of my choice). I asked her to leave a $20 tip as I had to pay upfront for the platters. I then call the day before the party to confirm that my order will still be okay to pick up. I got a different girl who told me she had actually just finished making the pitas. I thought that was odd because with all the toppings and meat sitting on the bread overnight, there was a chance it was going to be soggy. She asked me if I wanted the dressing on the side so it doesn’t make the pitas soggy. Ironic. Day of the party I get a call from the same girl and she said did you want all three platters Greek ? I said no it was a mix. She then proceeded to place blame on the young girl who took my order. Saying she did it wrong. Honestly I don’t believe that for one bit. I think the girl who made the platters didn’t pay attention to the order and panicked. Mind you this is 30 minutes before I have to pick the platters up to get them to the party. I had no choice but to just deal with all Greek. I go to pick them up and I’m asked to sign a receipt and tip. I said I already paid and tipped and my bank was charged $131. The manager told me that that had to be incorrect and it was probably just a pending charge and to wait. It wasn’t pending but I didn’t have time to sit around trying to handle something I did over a week ago. I was only offered an apology, I was not offered a discount of any type. I paid $131 for an order that was completely wrong and all I got was I’m sorry. The receipt I signed yesterday better not also be charged to my account. I get to the party and set the food up and only one platter was touched because many of the guests do not like Greek. Not to mention they were extremely soggy and the lettuce was browning because like I said they were made the night before. They should have been made fresh that morning. The ladies who cashed me out were nothing but kind! Who I believe to be the owner continuously harassed me on how they already closed by the time I got there to pick up my order.. and calling me by name just to make a rude comment. I’ve worked in customer service since I was 14 and I understand people coming in at close is frustrating .. I unfortunately didn’t realize how early they closed because most papa Romano’s are open till atleast 9-10pm... nothing less that’s not how you treat people! Do not order from this location. I was in town over the 4th of July. I ordered on the 4th and figured that they were open since the online ordering went through with no problem. Gave me a time frame of 30 minutes for delivery. The store manager didn’t help any when I called on 7/14 with telling me I had to drive there to get my 52 dollars back because they only give cash refunds. Driving 30 miles to get my money back is the last thing I want to do. They are crooks and I bet since the order cleared the bank that she was able to tip herself.
