We ordered some manakeesh from here for an Arabic breakfast after hearing good reviews. We ordered the day before to make sure everything was on time. We ordered white cheese, zaatar, and meat. My huband went to pick them up and they needed 10 minutes to finish the order. Once they came, they smelled delicious but I was surprised by how oily everything was. We have been to this bakery many times because we like their baked goods. However, after the encounter we had with the gentleman today WE WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. As it is, this place is overpriced and to be treated badly, makes this experience less than zero. The gentleman working on 9/5/22 at about 3-4 pm refused to fix a $47.36 complete blunder of an order. This bakery was a pleasant surprise. My son and I are traveling across country and wanted authentic Chicago style pizza (at 9am, lol) as we hit the road. Olive Bakery is listed as a pizza place online and it has great ratings, so we decided to go. It's was a pleasant surprise because A) they don't serve Chicago style pizza, and B) the bakery is a Palestinian bakery. We had some really delicious Saj (bread), pizza and sesame cookies, and ended up happy that we made this mistake. It was very busy as it was Eid.
