The name is misleading, a dinner?!!? The place is located inside the MCO, Florida. For an airport the food available for the regular Joe is below, below bar, oh! Is deceiving like The Sunshine Dinner, I tried their pastry, seriously 😐, their coffee poor made if is of good quality, I throw it in the garbage after being stuck at the airport for hours, wich I would have to see, and still wouldn't believe, I was in Florida, so I ask for a seafood ( for a dinner they have very few choices and most like you would find in convenience, poorly managed may I say) it was like they made the day before, dry, oily, too much salt and looked like it was left on the pot on. Let me tell you, don't get deceived. On the top, they didn't have no more than ten customers, and the service was unbelievable, close disgusting, there was one waiter, I think he was Latino, that actually was very polite, he was tending to the other side of the dinner. When I got his attention he came and gave napkins! If not for him no napkins and he did not look like: what do you want. Definitely do not recommend. The 0 is too good. If you ever been on a average dinner you would know that is definitely not a dinner 😏! Shame, that is a place that a lots of people would love 💘 a...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Sunshine Diner by Chef Art Smith located in Orlando International Airport’s Terminal C, near gates C230-C238. This establishment offers a refreshing take on classic American diner fare, blending comfort with modern twists.
The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, providing a pleasant respite amidst the bustling airport environment. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring a delightful dining experience.
The menu boasts a variety of options, from traditional comfort foods to healthier, plant-based dishes. I opted for the Southern Flatbread, which was both flavorful and satisfying. The availability of grab-and-go items is a convenient feature for travelers on tight schedules.
Operating daily from 5:00 AM until the last departing flight, Sunshine Diner accommodates travelers at virtually any hour. Whether you’re seeking a sit-down meal or a quick bite, this diner is a stellar choice.
In summary, Sunshine Diner by Chef Art Smith elevates airport dining with its exceptional food, inviting ambiance, and top-notch service. I highly recommend it to anyone passing through Orlando...
Read moreUsually, when you eat at an airport, the experience can be hit or miss, but the Sunshine Diner at Orlando International Airport’s Terminal C was impressively smooth. From the moment I sat down, Bridget, my server, set the tone for a welcoming meal. Her attentiveness was remarkable. Bridget was constantly checking in to make sure everything tasted great and ensuring my water glass never ran empty.
I ordered the "Eggs Your Way," which came with three eggs, chicken sausage, and toast. It was lunchtime, but I ordered this particular breakfast entree, and it was prepared promptly, which is crucial when dining at an airport. It came out fairly quickly, and I didn't feel rushed or worried about missing my boarding call. In comparison to other airport restaurants that I have eaten at, the Sunshine Diner exceeded my expectations, getting my meal out quickly without compromising the quality of the meal.
Overall, the combination of great service from Bridget, timely food preparation from the kitchen, and an enjoyable airport dining atmosphere makes the Sunshine Diner a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable breakfast before...
