Love Whole Foods Cafe & Market — Restaurant in Ormond Beach

I used to “Love” this store, I moved to Florida 12 years ago and have went to this store a lot, I am not rich by any means and I paid the high high prices because I believed it was worth it, the quality and taste of food was excellent- but here is the kicker the people that work there are TERRIBLE MEAN and LAZY. They are so mean they literally don’t want you to get food the counter deli area is the worst they will do anything to avoid you ordering food they will look away say they are out of it whatever. I have had it I am not going back I’m sad that I repeatedly get treated this way when I go there. The last straw was Monday night the 17th I went in at 5:45ish one girl was vacuuming and I walked to deli counter to be greeted with mean looks from the girls behind the counter. All food was covered with plastic wrap I said are you closed she said in a little bit and everything is covered up - translation get away from here we don’t want to help you. I said I only want the grape leaves and I did not see any in the cooler, I was even willing to get them from the cooler to avoid having them open a covered pan of grape leaves, she said again everything is covered already. Like really the store closes at 7 I think to myself also everything so expensive and I can’t even get served. This was not the first time something like this has happened to me here one time I was pregnant and they just walked around and acted like they did not see me. One time I asked if they had any drink with out sugar they said no and walked away never to return to take my order. I leave and think gosh I wish I could do something about the way I’m treated but I called the manager once nothing happened because they still act like they are better than me like they work at the Ritz Carleton or something- anyway I said to myself only thing I can do is write a review and hope maybe it makes a difference but most likely they will continue to treat people so RUDE saddest part is I have to learn how to make grape leaves because I am NEVER going back there again and I will NEVER say anything good about this place to ANYONE again SAD. Save your money and order fresh groceries delivered...

This is a place that is really really awesome they have so many things in there other than just health food products they have different jewelry they have a smoothies and salads that you can get there I think they have salads I frequent this place a lot because of the simple fact that it has the different like aromatherapy oils that you can put in your little vows and stuff at the house to keep your house in your office smelling good and also for the fact that they carry health food products I am one that I don't care too much for medicines so if I can find an alternative to a medicine that has a lot of side effects I go there I just shop there and got a B complex because I thought I was having a problem with my thyroid which I was told by the doctor I didn't need to have thyroid medication but I was feeling a real weak without any energy after I had covet Delta covid in 2022 I've had a very low immune system and have been very tired but I read up on some things and went and got a B complex on several days ago when I was there and it worked the very first vegan vegetarian B complex pill that I took I felt 100% better so I go there for my health food products which is a great place their prices are great they have wonderful educated people with great amount of knowledge that can help you with anything that you're looking for so I would go there before I go anywhere else because you can talk to somebody writing person that can give you an outlook on what it is that you need or what you're looking for and is this a great place you get there and I promise you you'll see more things than what you went there for it's amazing Place...

While traveling we stopped here for food to take to a family gathering. It’s a compact size but has myriad products and more than covers all the bases of what you’d want in a store with whole foods in its name.

Let’s not forget the first word in their name is LOVE and I was greeted immediately with a cheery “Welcome!” All the store staff smiled and were helpful.

Just inside the main entrance door before you enter the market is a sunlit, plant-filled eating area.

Inside the market are packed tables, shelves and displays for crystals, various lines of homeopathic remedies, essential oils, beauty care, clothing, books and health journals, vitamins, snack foods, mixes, refrigerated foods, Florida and local farmers’ organic fruits and vegetables, candy, protein bars and more.

I found exactly what I needed at the cafe which is kind of hidden at the front of the store behind the checkout registers area, directly to the right of the market doors.

Today in the case were grape leaves (like dolmades, but the sign just said grape leaves and I don’t know what was in them); a kale mixed salad; roasted spicy chicken pieces; sweet potato casserole; classic holiday green beans; curried chicken salad; and more. I got the chicken and the spinach noodles with tofu.
