G's Pizzeria & Deli — Restaurant in Oscoda Township

I would like to update my rating and give an update to what happen at G’s Sunday night. We went in to the store yesterday to try to talk to someone about what happened and get my money back from my dinner the previous night that I never received. I will say that the food was still pretty good, but the incident with the service we received over this situation was so upsetting that I could eat more than one small piece of pizza since I had no appetite to eat that night. So we went to the store first thing yesterday morning and we were able to speak to the owner who was there. We explained what happened on our end of the situation and he was apologetic and said they should have offered to make me a salad which I never got. He asked me if I wanted my salad or money and he did give me a refund for the food I never got. Because of this I will up my review Though other places might have offered free comped food to try to make up for what happened and all of our trouble. I would just like to ask the staff who was there that night to try to put yourself in my shoes as a customer. I realize working in a restaurant can’t be easy at times, but if you ordered dinner, paid for it, never got it and was told you pretty much could not do anything about that problem how would that make you feel? I know some people can’t be easy to deal with and some people do lie and say they didn’t get their food but you can’t assume everyone might be lying. I really hope that things get better with the service at this location because we really liked either ordering or dining in at times...

Never again. I will buy snacks at the Dollar Store across the street and roll in heart disease. There was a sign asking us to wait to be seated, and finally someone tells us to seat ourselves. We do, and we sit our kids in the booth behind us, so they can be "big". We get our drink orders taken and after explaining where the kids were for thier drinks, she just didn't get it. My husbands margarita came out with chunks of stuff (pictured below) frozen in the ice, and in the obviously dirty cup. The waitress INSISTS it's part of the margarita and refuses to adress it. Our food comes out, and my Nachos are CLEARLY covered in coney sauce from Gordon's food service, with some stale and unexciting "house made, fresh" chips. I have more toppings on the paper the nachos come on, except for an excessive amount of nasty, metallic coney sauce. My husband's wings are drenched in Frank's, not bad per se, but you ARE supposed to add butter, and for the price we weren't expecting some Anytizers from Gordon's food service with some hot sauce on top. My oldest child got a wrap, and said it tasted funny, and my youngest was happy with his chicken nugget meal. I left there 60 bucks poorer, thinking "G, I wish I'd just driven by this place". That place is an insult to anyone with basic housekeeping skills...

Oscoda location has gone downhill! Ordered a patty melt and seasoned fries. Plain fries were served on the same plate as the patty melt that had no cheese on it. When I pointed out that the fries were supposed to be seasoned I was asked by the server to "just scoop them off the plate". The seasoned fries that were replaced were so overcooked they weren't edible. When I pointed out that there was no "melt" to the patty melt and I wasn't asked how I wanted the meat cooked it was after everyone else in our party had already finished their food. As they were remaking my patty melt to go I overheard the waitstaff complaining about the fact that my food was not made properly. When I got home to eat my remade patty melt it was covered in cheese but raw so it went in the garbage. The "manager" apologized for our "new" server but did nothing to rectify it or make sure that my order was remade properly. Very disappointed as this used to be a favorite of my family's everytime we came to Oscoda. We'll be visiting the Tawas location again but not the...
