I hadn’t dine in but not because I didn’t want to. My husband and I just prefer take outs. We order 2 whole ducks when they first opened and it WAS really good 5/5. Although I can’t say the same for the rest of my orders. That’s where they fell short. Pad kee mao was bland 2/5, padthai was alright 3/5, Pad kra pow was good 4/5, the cooked beef laab was not as I ordered. I wanted very spicy, no bitter, more sour, but I got bitter, med spice, and no sourness 1/5. It also tasted like it was premade. :( which was very disappointing. Then about 2-3 weeks later I decided to order a whole ducks because they are the only restaurant that specializes or offer Peking duck. To my disappointment, it was not the same quality as it was when they first opened. I can tell right off the back that they did not take their time to bake, dry, and based the duck for days as Peking duck should be made. It look like they marinade it and baked it for only a couple hours in the day of. I was very sad as I love Peking duck and was excited to finally have a restaurant in town, that offers it. Not sure when I’ll be ordering...
Read moreWORST FOOD EVER!!! We ordered the pho, raw laab, and half duck with large sticky rice. The laab was old meat, has no flavor, and the portion was extremely small, not even for one person. The laab was brown, which tells me it was made 4-5 days ago. Moreover, the laab doesn't even come with rice so we ordered a large bowl of rice, which was still small. What kind of entrée doesn't come with any sides?! The duck was very dry, cold, and has no flavor. It's probably made a few days ago too! The pho was by far the worst!! The broth was basically just water. The pho has no flavor. All I could taste was the seasoning of cinnamon. The menu claims that it comes with brisket! Lies!! There's barely any meat!!! I got 3 pieces of dried meat that tasted like lean pork and 5 small pieces of meatballs. This place will not be around long because they're cheap. Please give customers the portion they pay for. I will not recommend this restaurant. What...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped in on a whim and got take out. We found parking on the street so no issues there. The very spicy request for all of our dishes must’ve missed the mark, because the papaya salad, the raw beef laab, and the pad see kraw were all pretty plain. The papaya and pad see kraw was a bit on the sweet side, and to our disappointment, not much flavoring in the raw laab at all. The Thai tea was not freshly mixed but out of a can, which I can get from the Hmong store down the road. I was expecting a more authentic fresh Thai tea mixture. On the positive side, the atmosphere was cozy and the customer service was very prompt and polite. It may have been that my “very spicy” request was misheard or the chef missed the mark, by not over doing the spice level to the extreme, but I would not have asked for very spicy if my husband and I didn’t want very spicy. Overall, if you want a quick Asian meal on a budget, give this...
