So freaking awful. The older blonde waitress was rushing us to get out, way to ruin someones dinner when you get paid to do your job. Rule of thumb: you don’t tell customers how you want to close so bad when it’s not closing time. I understand everyone who works wants to go home but it’s literally your job. The staff gossip loudly about other staff and customers. In most places it’s considered rude to interrupt a customers conversation to ‘ask’ them to pay so you can close which was more telling us to do it. We got seated at 9:10 ish, If you close at 10 you stop seating at 10 or a tad before and wait for the customers to leave on their own. I’ve worked at a couple restaurants and sometimes customers take until 10:30 or 11 to leave but it’s your job. We got waters but no one asked if we wanted anything else? If there was anything else to drink we wouldn’t know. The salad Roman lettuce was yellowing so we avoided finishing it. The pasta wasn’t great but it would have been better if the service was at all any where near normal. Also telling customers the place throws all the soup in the garbage at closing so you’ll just give them free soup which was nice and all but no one wants to be told that as they order, I know Im not the only one who doesn’t enjoy thinking about garbage when I order. I’m glad our order was ‘easy’ so she could get rid of us quick. When you’ve have a hard day you need to leave that attitude for after work not push it onto customers and make them uncomfortable. It felt like being treated as an annoying customer but all we did was come for dinner. We will not be back and we’re really disappointed because the reviews were good so definitely didn’t expect all that. Beware if you're out of town and stopping to get fuel, in which this restaurant is attached to and shares restrooms with the gas station. Proceed with caution perhaps, especially if you need to wear a mask for health reasons, are unsure if you need to wear one, or are of darker than pale white complexion.

I cannot review the food at this restaurant, but I certainly can review the bathrooms and the patrons at this establishment. 2 stars for the restroom being somewhat clean. We were enroute to our destination in northern WI. We stopped here to fuel up and use the restroom. The floor seemed dirty and sticky. The place was packed with a long wait to be seated to eat (Father's Day around brunch/lunch time--so long waits could be expected). The patrons of this establishment will ostracize you for wearing a mask (maybe it's because I am of olive complexion...I'm not sure, but the struggle was ridiculous to let me through to use the restroom despite politely saying "excuse me, may I please get through to use the restroom"). Upon leaving the restroom and exiting...wow...stares and comments as I walked out. I returned comments of my own after that ordeal. I love small town USA areas, but I would avoid this gas station, restaurant, and the town in the future for...

This place was off the chain. The girls on second shift were awesome I was able to order us salad and then this wasn't just a salad this was about the size of a basketball it was so huge and so good the lady ended up bringing me a take home box cuz I couldn't eat it all and gave me extra dressing to go with it. Then I ordered my granddaughter a sample platter of the appetizer line. And I guess they were out of mop sticks so they gave her extra onion rings now it was really greasy really greasy I don't know if it's a new cook or what but I brought it back in the next morning and talked to the manager and she was so nice to give me my money back and offer me a free meal I told her I don't want both if I could just get my money back that's fine because I've never had a problem with their place I love this place their food is always good there's always parking in their parking lot if not there's a dirt lot next door the waitresses are so funny. I wish I could remember mine she was an older lady not too old cuz I'm old haha but anyways she was funny and she always had my glass filled. I most definitely will...
