Stopped here for a impromptu dinner with my husband children and my father. We will start with tge not so great.. First it was a rainy day however the dining room wasn't open the covered pavilion was the only option for seating. My father is disabled and has issue with walking. We ended up having to walk down an uneven hilled path to get to tables, not realizing until we were seated there was a back parking lot unadvertized we could have parked in closer. We had no waitress we had to get menus on our own then approach windows to order. Our food was brought to us however, which was welcomed. For the 6 of us to eat 4 regular drinks 2 alcoholic cost us 228.55 without tip (I left a 20$ at the bar even though we had to do the waitress duty ourselves mostly) I ordered the Mac and cheese with pulled pork it was edible, a bit dry but BBQ pork was really good. My son's got routine which they enjoyed. My father had calamari and the shrimp poboy he said both were horrible and definitely frozen. And his double scotch and soda and captain and coke were mediocre at best. Portions were very good sized so that was good. We were left to clear our table ourselves, it was convenient as the trash barrel was about 2 ft from our table. My father said he would not return. However if my husband and I were out on our motorcycles, I would definitely come back which Segways into the GOOD: the place was large and the covered Pavillion kept us dry there was live music, which was entertaining. The scenery was beautiful with scapes of the mountains in the distance. There was an area that surprised me separated from the Pavillion which was an area where leashed pets were allowed ( this was outside away from the Pavillion so wouldn't interfere with diners eating under cover. I thought that was unique and something that would bring me back. So in summary. Food was hit or miss, price was a but high, but atmosphere helped. Not somewhere I would bring my father or children again but I would attempt it again with my husband or with my husband and pups. Beautiful location and great entertainment. I would definitely give a 3 out of 5 stars overall.

We were on our way back home from camping over the weekend and we decided to try this restaurant on our way back home. We were hesitant at 1st, because it was fairly empty, but we quickly fell in love with the gorgeous view of the mountains in the background. The setup is a little different cuz you order your drinks and meals at the register. You pay up front, then you get a number and your food and drinks are brought to your table. The food came out pretty quickly. I had the veggie quesadilla (And no, I'm not a vegetarian) and the pan-seared salmon with Teriyaki Sause on the side. The salmon was delicious and im glad i had them put the sause on the side cuz I wasn't feeling the sause at all. I had room for dessert since I wanted some leftovers for the 2 1/2 hr ride back home. We already decided that will be comjng back next year after we finish our annual camping trip.

The Mac n Cheese with Brisket was SO BAD!!! A watery 'cheese 'sauce' at the bottom of the dish, No cheese on the noodles, Brisket had no flavoring. DO NOT order this dish. What were they thinking??? Paid $18.99 for this??? Have mercy! Also, main door was locked in a huge downpour, but the sign said in case of bad weather, indoor seating is available. Nope. Had to go around, down a watery, dangerous slope with no railings. I've eaten here many times, never been this bad! Haven't even looked at the Poutine yet. Their best burger is the Poutine. Update: They substituted the pulled pork tacos for me and the were good, as was the Poutine. Thanks, Harley's!

**TLDR version: Cold, improperly re heated dishes, stick to burgers… go to the bathroom at home or elsewhere.

We arrived at Harley Jacks, a restaurant we’d driven busily by many times, & we were excited about the food we’d been brought to believe was delicious. The atmosphere was nice, views, it seemed clean & well designed.

We were immediately brought menus & our drinks, then waited 20 mins for a server to come back. We knew what we wanted to order before we got there as we looked up the menu ahead of time. So the menus were placed at the edge of the table out of our hands within moments of being left with us. Usually this signifies we are ready to order. As we waited we chatted and enjoyed the views. When the waitress returned & took our orders she then returned very quickly with drinks while we waited again, as 25 minutes passed she brought more drinks… 3 drinks in we asked about our food order, we were assured it would be out shortly that it needed more time.

Two meals brought out, two still waiting. Food smelled good so we shrugged wondering if the wait staff also were bartending & cooking the food, or if maybe no one was there, or new chefs… many things were discussed as we waited & tried to make excuses for why it would take so long for Mac n cheese with pulled pork…

When our food was brought out, we thanked the waitress & I prepared to blow on hot food. I asked my son if it was hot as he dug in, he shook his head and I watched him brush a good deal of cracker topping off. I assumed it was simply not to his liking and he was eating around it. Then, I took a bite into cold pork, & a warm noodle covered in fishy tasting cheese. (Do not ask how or why it tasted like fish, as I have no clue hahaha) I tried another area on the edge & it was still cold.

Underwhelmed by the taste & the unprepared meal, my son had pushed his away right before, after just a few bites, I too pushed mine away. I called the polite waitress over, & let her know why I wasn’t going to eat & she asked if we’d like it heated more, or to go…

At this time my mother had reached the center of her shepherds pie which was icy…not just cooled. I explained I did not wish to have it heated, nor bring it home. She quickly offered to remove them from our bill which we appreciated.

While they removed the item from our bill, I assumed that premade portions of food had been previously cooked & were being reheated as quickly as possible in tin containers they’re served in. I’d stick to burgers if going to Harley Jacks, as that seemed to be the only fresh item on our table.

Big miss for me, I won’t return. Which is a shame because the views, & atmosphere were lovely, & we love car shows which they seem to draw crowds from. Then I went into the unisex bathroom that was filthy with the doorframe unwashed, & stinking of piss… & I’ve read they also keep the porta potties close to the dining area out back in the summer also… I’m guessing there is a disconnect between management &...

My husband and I visited Saturday Nite for dinner since change made to new name (owner). There was not visible hostess station so we walked in to the dining in the back, a server indicated to sit anywhere and she would be right with us. We sat on platform seating facing back windows. On the same bench a lady was sitting with her little dog in his dog bed on the bench. Did not have a "service dog" vest on. (would have brought ours if we knew this was "dog friendly" restaurant.) A young girl appears and says to us" where did you come from", my husband responded "Ossipee", I responded "my mother". She said she didn't know which section we were in and proceeded to sputter on in a manner that we had done something wrong. The server returned and said she would take care of us and took our appetizer order and dinner order. Received appetizers in short order and they were good. Waited 56 minutes (during which time we observed the hostess sitting 5 people at a 4 top after looking around and seeing no other tables; observed a girl carrying a baby taking drink orders from another table; ) finally asked server when we got her attention where our food was and she came out from the kitchen and informed us they pushed our order to the bottom (of a very full restaurant). Needless to say we went down the road to a seafood place and immediately got our dinner. Not happy- Menu looked good, not sure if we will try again when off season. They really need to overhaul a lot of things...
