Ok for the $.
I do have a couple of issues:
1 . My menu was missing the special page... I tried to address this issue with my server they then pointed at the other guests menu... When I pointed out that their special menu cannot be read she said I can read it to you... I'm sorry ... It's 2023 you can pick up a printer at Goodwill for $10 and print some new menus for probably under $30 do better she shouldn't have to attempt to read the special menu to me.
The environment very much feels like a highschool cafeteria turned sports bar which is pretty common of sports bars in around here so when it's not busy it's bright and cavernous.
That's just my personal taste 😀 who am I right?
To the food:
The salad was good and fresh out of a bag but fresh , the fried chicken and spaghetti took a while to get to us and the chicken tasted a little bit like fresh oil so I'm imagining the fryer was not adequately heated causing the delay and oily taste. This was the special on this night and it was an early dinner but that's no excuse. The spaghetti met the expectations and was actually quite delicious. My mountain dew tasted like it was watered down and just didn't have enough flavor not flat just not mountain dew what a terrible way to save money, Our beer had a sour taste, hmmm I wonder why ? Was it aged perhaps 😆or did you neglect to cleans the lines ?
All in all for the price and in the right company I would go back but only because in these times the price is still right and the service was as good as...
Read moreThe worst place I’ve ever worked. Owned by male chauvinistic Albanians who show no respect for female servers. Dismissed with wave of his hand like a pion. Cooks argue with servers over special orders. Poor food presentation. No consistency. No hand washing policy to speak of or enforced. No area designated for hand washing. Dishwasher also makes the pizzas after handling dirty dishes and smokes in dishroom. The cook Arian smokes on the line while cooking and preparing food. Sexual harassment ignored while Arian puts his hands on servers and flirts with female servers. And don’t expect to leave on time ever even if scheduled to leave cause they will keep you til close. Scheduling is messed up: 11-3 means come in at 10 but not everyone follows that rule. In fact rules only enforced on certain people and not everyone. Scheduled 10-8 still means u stay til close or when they say u leave unless ur a favorite. Double standards. Owners sit in office watching cameras all the time and will yell at you for not answering phones fast enough though dining room busy. Drivers on cell phones in kitchen but they can’t answer phones? Deliveries come before visiting customers. Manager useless. Can’t make decisions wo asking her dad first. Real control freak. Owners disregard any concerns u may have unless u r a favorite. Servers put in sections but no organized seating to make it fair for all servers. No designated bartender so good luck getting a decent martini or manhattan. No training...
Read moreAbout all I can say is it was the absolute worst dinning experience in the Illinois Valley area. To start the experience out after seating ourselves, the waitress appeared to be annoyed at our very presence. Now the dinner, everything was frozen, nothing fresh, took a bite out of one of the thinnest, processed burger patties I've seen in a while, raw, not pink but raw, was bleeding onto the plate, never finished but the one bite. Now the kiddo had a bacon ranch chicken wrap, didn't know they put sausage in those, not sure the cook actually knew what he was doing at all, the other half ordered spaghetti and meatballs, big disappointment there, noodles were cooked then frozen and reheated to serve, just gross, and the meatwads we're store bought frozen as well, tough and dry. Never did get anything else since my burger went back, no apologies, no management around, nothing. No bill adjustment, I though for spaghetti, a burger and a wrap almost sixty dollars was overboard, even more so when you factor in the poor quality and miserable preparation of the food. The bottom line is I would never return there, even for a free meal, wouldn't waste my time or gas to get there, not to mention the time I wouldn't have to spend in the bathroom afterwards.
