Pizza King — Restaurant in Otterbein

This used to be my favorite pizza place whenever I came to visit my elderly father but today my pizza was burnt and no pepperoni on my half pepperoni half deluxe. The breadsticks were under cooked and the lady who waited on us had to go put food in the oven so another girl came out and stated she just got there and didn't know we were over there then she started asking questions about what I ordered. I didn't say more than it was a half deluxe half cheese but was supposed to be a half deluxe half pepperoni and it was a little over cooked. She went to the back and left me standing there then came back with the ticket that had my order on it and told me she prepped my food and had the audacity to ask if I ate any of i or if it was for my dad. She decided to state she recalled putting pepperoni on it but didn't put enough. Oh sorry she said. Rang me up. Very concerning. Work on your customer service. I know for only two people and busy it was hard. In the restaurant business you will have that from time to time. It must have been difficult to hear it was below my expectation. I didn't openly complain to you about the food since I did manage to eat it as I was too hungry not to, and didn't want to wait for a new pizza, or deal with any drama. I was there during a recent small town street festival. I didn't buy any food from Pizza King, but had gone in for a fountain drink and a little A\C for a few minutes. Even tho there was a street festival going on, everything looked clean, no unbussed tables, floors looked good and there were 2 families inside having dinner. Parking was difficult to discern as there was a street festival going on. The employee behind the counter was as cool as a cucumber despite the crowd. I’m a big proponent of small local businesses but I have to give my lunch today two stars. I ordered a full sub with extra sauce. I received a sub cut into 4 pieces. There was one very thinly shaved piece of ham and one slice of deli salami. No cheese on half the sandwich and no sauce on half the sandwich. 9.00 for basically a piece of bread. Very disappointing.
