The Dugout — Restaurant in Otterbein

Like their predecessors, inconsistency will be their demise. One day a large dish of soft serve will feed two adults, the next visit, it won't feed a small child. Twice this season we have had to go up and ask about our food and they have turned around and grabbed it at the window and gave it to us lukewarm. ??? why did you ask for a name if you're not going to call it?

Update: Nothing has changed this year. The same inconsistency that makes you typically just drive on by and avoid the frustration.

2025 update: 4 visits and 3 disappointments. It has been remodeled, and the staff is friendly but very unorganized. I never see an adult, but maybe it is just poor timing. Anyway, I think we are done here for the year. Linden is just a little bit...

So happy this is open! We love to drive out and enjoy a cone or shake. They have a fun selection. This time we ordered dinner first. I had a BLT and the hubby had chicken fingers and we shared an order of fries. The service was helpful and prompt and the food was very good. Prices are very reasonable.
