Blue Moon Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Ovid Township

Extremely disappointed with Blue Moon. Odered 3 medium cones dipped in chocolate coating. 20 minutes and 6 customers later, my grandkids had their cones eaten and I was STILL waiting for my cone. Apparently she couldn't get my cone dipped without the ice cream falling off into the coating. I finally insisted on a refund for the cone I obviously wasn't going to get. They never offered something else off the menu, or even a free or discount on my next visit. Back to Cone Zone for me... UPDATE...I've read your responce to my review. A good old fashioned ice cream shop. With Walk-up windows and a drive-thru they make it easy to get your favorite frozen treats. This includes things you'd hope to find such as malts and slushes.

There's plenty of parking and also picnic tables to sit at, including one for children. Even the trash cans are made to look like ice cream cones.

The menu is huge and filled with choices with fun names. The downside is that all of those choices leave no room for descriptions. So who knows what delicious treats you're overlooking because you don't...

This place has some of the most ice cream selections that I know of around the area. The amount of soft serve ice cream flavors is amazing. Of course, there's also hand dipped ice cream as well as smoothies, shakes, sundaes, etc. They could probably make whatever ice cream dessert your heart is set on. They do have a drive thru as well as walk up. There are 3 picnic tables available to eat at. Definitely a must...
