Perkins American Food Co. — Restaurant in Owatonna

I ordered for pick up. Was asked to be put on hold for nearly 30 minutes right away. No one answered. I called back. Sent in my order. Was told it would be 15 minutes. I asked her specifically if she was sure cause I don't want to be standing around waiting. I have things I need to get done, thus why I ordered for pick up verses sitting down today. I get there 20 minutes on the dot, later, and absolutely no one comes to greet me for a good 10 minutes. Finally someone comes out and I tell them im here for an order I made online and am told "They just got my order and are making it now" 😳😳 What? I put my order in 30 minutes ago. Smh. So I wait around another 20-30 minutes. Mind you, there are 2 couples and a small child sitting down and already have their food. There is a man back in the kitchen section that is yelling. Thats all i heard for the most of the time I'm there. It's not busy, no other orders have been put in and no phone has gone off to make an order. The online order cubby is empty 2. Different sets of people came in and waited to be seated. They waited and waited and waited, and then left. Finally a woman comes out and hands me my order. I asked her specifically if there was straws, forks, condiments and everything in the bag as well. She cut me off and said it was all there. I was missing a straw and both my children's cookies for the kids meals. I'll think twice before going to an establishment that has such bad time management, mediocre tasting food that is full of oil as a substitute for flavor, eggs that are undercooked and overcooked country fried steak, has no time to make sure they are doing their job correctly, and bad...

I'm so disappointed with the Perkins in Owatonna MN.

I ate there with my family on a Tuesday in September when kids eat free. We paid for two adults meals but also got charged for the 2 kids meals I called that night and asked why I was charged and the manager Carol said if we didn't point out the kids when we cjecked out, they wouldn't know to take the kidsealsnpff She acted very annoyed. I actually worked at this perkins yeaslrs ago and I know that was not the truth. After I called again, she said it wasn't my fault after all and that they would send me a gift card for the price of the two kids meals.

I waited for a whole month before I called back and asked when I would be sent my giftcard. Carol told me she forgot to send it but would get it in the mail the next day. Two weeks later I still hadn't received it and called to talk to the district manager. Carol once again told me that she would get it in the mail the next day amd that it wasn't her fault that it never got sent out. Once again she seemed to be very annoyed with me. I honestly should have been given my money back since it was the cashiers mistake but I settled for the gift card. I finally received it today and it was for $10.58, not even enough to cover 2 kids meals! I'm so fed up with how greedy this woman seems to be with MY money that shouldn't have been taken in the first place. It's a shame how customers are treated even when they did nothing wrong.

This place seriously deserves NO stars. Tonight was the worse experience ever. My mother and I were seated by a teen who (I don't think) told anybody to serve us. Nobody waited on us. Never got asked for drinks, never got talked to once! Two other couples came in after my mom and I. They were faithfully served by waitresses. They got their drinks and made their orders. My mom and I had patiently waited for 20 minutes for NOBODY. The manager was standing and talking with personally known customers the whole time. She was at the next table across/behind from us. Stood there talking THE ENTIRE TIME! Waitresses and the girl that seated us saw us sitting there, and NO ONE bothered to help us. Yes, it's always been a dream of mine to come to Perkins (hungry) to just sit and talk with my mom, with menus, and nobody coming up to us. This wouldn't be the first time from this place, we were served NOTHING. I've been willing to give this place a shot. Most of the time, we are ignored. I don't know, but your staff had better learn to serve people and not make judgements about your customers. My mom and I felt like we were judged based off of our physical appearances. We felt that way, because once we got up to leave... the girl that seated us was snotty and rude about us leaving. She had a disgust look in her eyes when we walked in. Anyways we got up and left after the wasted 20 minutes of being there. So thank you so much Perkins in Owatonna for making us waste time for NOTHING. Get a better...
