Genmai Sushi — Restaurant in Oxnard

Zero stars . Placed my order through “Yelp fulfilled by Grubhub” for pickup . It goes through, charged my card and confirmation received . Show up 25 mins later to get my food to be told they are not taking Grubhub orders . Why ? Who knows?!! but seems because they don’t feel like it. Front person asks the sushi chef if they’ll honor my order who then rudely yells at him that he will not make my order and to tell me to call Grubhub and cancel it as they refuse to honor my perfectly processed order. They request I let them take my order there and not through Grubhub . Yeah right ?!!! Never going back again . They’ve lost a customer and by the many times I’ve ate there, I can tell they could use more...

Not happy with this place at all, got there with 4 people in my party and it was ridiculously it was packed inside. There was no order and they made us wait outside to get seated. At the request of others in my party, we decided to wait it out, as this is the only sushi restrant open at this hour. We waited for about 30 mins. Big mistake, the owner ended up letting the other parties that arrived AFTER us in before us, because they knew the owner. It was actually the owner who came out to let them in. What kind of business owner does this? These people don't care about their guests. Worst customer service and douce-bag customers that do get seated. If I could give this place negative...

Not what a Sushi Place should be , food was ok. Service was extremely slow.(Wasn't busy) so I'm not sure why the service was slow. Didn't receive any portion of my meal not even rolls till 20-30min later. Disappointed in my fried rice . They attempted to serve me steamed rice with chicken and vegetables. NOT fried at all. They did make good on the plate and served me a new dish.My son's Miso soup had noodles ??? Anyhow they attempt to put a different spin, that in my opinion. Isn't working. I will not be returning.
