Heavenly Cakes — Restaurant in Oxnard

Heavenly Cakes is a local gem in Oxnard shores. the cakes are heavenly. Olivia prepared and delivered an absolutely beautiful wedding cake for our wedding last October. We received many compliments.

The shop is small but packs in a lot of deliciousness in a few cases. The strudels are amazing - and so reasonable. They are a great Sunday treat for the whole family for under $10 with plenty left over for treats during the week. The donuts of all types and all of their items are reliably excellent. As a word of caution, Heavenly Cakes is not a French bakery - It is an All-American bakery and the goods are made in that style. Olivia is very talented so I presume she could make French pastries, but If you really want to find a great selection of French pastries you would have to travel elsewhere. We ordered a cake for a 40th birthday bash from Heavenly Cakes. We requested the cake be a specific flavor with certain decor and color accents. And Heavenly Cakes did not disappoint! The cake decorator/baker is outstanding. Not only did the cake have every detail we asked for, but the design and attention to detail was impeccable. The cake was so beautiful, no one wanted to cut it; it looked like something from a food magazine. I was more than pleased with the cake. The cake was red velvet and the flavor was spot on with no overpowering chocolate flavor. Everyone thought it was so moist and airy. The cake paired with the cream cheese icing was literally the “icing on the cake” - not too dense with the right amount of sweetness. Heavenly Cakes went over and beyond what was expected. Heavenly Cakes is an amazing place. My family and I have been going there for about 15 years. The owners are amazing and sweet. When my family first started visiting here, we immediately felt welcomed. Friendly greetings always greet anyone who comes in.

They have yummy donuts of all kind. But if you aren't craving donuts, you can have numerous different type of pastries, muffins, croissants, bagels, you name it, they probably have it.

They also have good coffee and you could even order an iced coffee!

Heavenly Cakes is also a wonderful place to order any occasion cakes from. Olivia, the cake maker, is wonderful to sit down and talk to about whatever you need. She does weddings, birthdays, graduations, babyshowers,...you name it, she can make a cake for it.
