I was recently driving and saw the Tacos Beto food truck parked by the 99 cent only store in Thousand Oaks, so I decided to stop and try it out. I must say, I was glad I did. The first thing that caught my attention was the variety of meat choices they offered. From succulent carne asada to tender carnitas, there was something to satisfy every meat lover's craving.
One aspect that I particularly appreciated was the bright and clean cooking area. It was not only visually appealing but also gave me confidence in the hygiene and quality of the food being prepared. Being able to see the skilled chefs in action added to the overall experience.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the Quesa Taco. Although a bit greasy, it was simply outstanding, bursting with flavor and perfectly melted cheese. The combination of the tender meat and the gooey cheese was a match made in taco heaven. I highly recommend trying it when you visit Tacos Beto.
However, I have to mention the only negative aspect of my experience: the prices. While the tacos were undeniably delicious, I found the prices a bit steep. The basic tacos priced at $3.25 each felt a bit on the higher side for their size. The Quesa taco, priced at $4.50, also seemed a tad expensive compared to other options.
Overall, Tacos Beto offers really good food and the friendly staff maintain a clean and inviting cooking area. The Quesa taco is a definite must-try. Just be prepared for slightly higher prices, especially for the size of the basic tacos. Despite this, I still recommend giving Tacos Beto a visit for a flavorful and enjoyable...
