Aptly named, this restaurant's excellent food and wonderful service will definitely leave an impression on your mind. They've got so many options, from rich, hearty Chile Colorado to much lighter fare. There's something for everyone no matter what the mood is! My husband and I began our meal with fresh cups of coffee ($3.95 each). He ordered the Cancun Omelette with hash browns and rye toast (bacon, cheese, green chile, and sour cream $17.50), which was heavily stuffed with the goods! It was very fresh and incredibly flavorful! There was lots of bacon bits and the green chile was definitely an interested, delicious addition. I bellied up with the Chile Colorado and Eggs (two eggs and tender beef smothered in roasted tomato sauce, refried beans, potatoes, corn or flour tortillas, topped with sour cream, $16.95). This dish is RICH & HEAVY. I'm not sure where they buy their eggs, but their definition of "two" eggs is more like four. The beef was phenomenally seasoned and packed with flavor and beautifully tender. The sauce was delicious, I wanted it smothered on the eggs and hash browns. To add to the praise, it was very authentic, tasted very reminiscent of what I've had before homemade using ancho and guajillo chiles. Wowza, there was no way I was going to finish this dish. Good thing it saves well! To top off our amazing breakfast, we ordered Cinnamon Roll French Toast ($16.95) to-go. This one was a miss. Maybe it would have been much better if it wasn't sitting in a covered container for 2 hours before we ate it. It didn't look very appealing, nothing like the images shared by other patrons online. What I saw was a ginormous cinnamon roll toasted and drenched in syrup and frosting with cinnamon dusted over the top. Not what we got at all. It was 3 sad, flat cakes sloppily placed in the box and way dusted. Did I see something else...??? If so, please let me know as the menu has no pics and I expected something very different. It still tasted fantastic, and came with plenty of maple syrup but no cream cheese frosting. I'd love to come back here! Despite the disappointing dessert, it was still a great meal! Still 5 stars!!! :)

Was passing through the area on my way back home to West LA and had heard amazing things about this little diner so tried it for my first time this past weekend and can say I was honestly really impressed. Service was fantastic, our server was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast and for a very fair price. I loved how fresh all the ingredients were and the produce was especially delicious. I would call this a local country diner that was absolutely packed when we visited on Saturday morning. They don’t have outdoor seating but plenty of indoor options. There’s also a large free parking lot attached so finding a space was really easy. They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of classic American and Mexican breakfast options. For this visit, I chose the Chilaquiles Verdes and thought it was really good. I added some of their homemade salsa with it, which was a great combo and I would highly recommend this dish. I also got a biscuit on the side, which was very fluffy and really hit the spot. It’s really lively on the inside and had a really great atmosphere so I would highly recommend this place to anyone passing through or to anyone in the area.

First of all, being an avid amateur chef and rated many, many restaurants for breakfast and being critical of the quality of the food and second, the service. The Best Breakfast would have to be number 1 out of roughly 30 Southern California breakfast houses that I've rated. Lunch and breakfast was perfect down to the last bite. My friend had chicken, mushroom, tomato dish with delicious rice and beans. I have the same staple wherever I have breakfast in the U.S. 2 eggs over easy, home potatoes, bacon or sausage and in place of toast, one or two pancakes. I drink my coffee black in order to distinguish the quality and taste of the coffee. I was amazed that I could not find one infection of the quality of the food, coffee, ambiance and especially our waitress Abbey. There is nothing pretentious about this place. Good old home school breakfast, lunch delites!! Would recommend to anyone wanting a good homemade hardy meal. Enjoy! After all . . . Life Is To Enjoy!:)

Before coming here, I didn't know they meant "The Best" literally. Seriously - They do

I have eaten breakfast at 4am after an all nighter in Las Vegas, when food that would barely appeal to any half-starved zombie would taste like sweet manna from heaven... And I still never had such a satisfying and delicious breakfast as we did here! Unbelievable

First off the place was packed. Parking lot only holds about 20 cars tops so spoiler alert, you're not getting to park right here unless someone is leaving right then. Don't let that dissuade you. You will then be presented with a long line, because I doubt anyone with more sense than a seagull goes anywhere else for breakfast. Put your name on the list, and prepare to be amazed. Or don't, it is a free country after all, and this review is like that old saying "you can lead a horse to water and attempt to drown him..." but I digress.

The food an service was impeccable. Definitely recommend the Huevos Rancheros because the green chili magic sauce is amazing. Not feeling eggs? This place has waffles that make angels cry (or at least, a guy in an angels jersey but HEY! close enough). My personal favorite was the Seafood Benedict. You know those late nights where you contemplate doing highly illegal things that would ensure a life of riches for a short time but then you get sent to death row and you wonder what your last meal would be? No, just me? Right. Anyway, this is the meal. Honestly, any meal from here would be fantastic. EVEN BETTER you don't have to wait to be on death row to get it! Their prices are amazing considering the happiness they impart.

Also, the service was awesome for a crowded house. Drinks never went unfilled, my plate was immediately taken upon being cleared so I would not A) eat the plate, and B) stare in sadness at the emptiness of something so delicious.

We will be back here. Also, I have no idea if you made it all the way through this review. If you did, congrats!... and come...

First off I would like to make this review very clear and as detail as possible if you are planning on eating at The Best Breakfast. Today as I leave this review I have to say this is by far the best and I mean best place to come and enjoy a good morning breakfast. You are treated like a restaurant should treat all their customers with a smile ,quick and friendly service. When arriving we were quickly seated and made sure seats were clean and table was set for us. The owner of this restaurant was actually there making sure all his guests were being attended to with any of their needs. Seen such a great person like him be so into the business not just sitting in an office but actually being on the floor with his employees it’s means a lot and says a lot about him. The food quality was outstanding nice and hot as it should no cold plates here. They even offered a table next to us to reheat it if they thought it wasn’t warm enough which again small details go a long way. This place is open nice and early and so close early too at 2pm. So my final thoughts is I highly and I mean highly recommend this facility if you are looking for something different from your usual breakfast taste. You will not be disappointed by their service and food. Huge thanks to the owner and the waitress and of course the staff cooking the food. I will definitely be coming back to try something new.

P.S- COVID Safety Guidelines are followed tables are well distant and masks are required as they should be in any place...
