My friend Clarissa had been raving about this restaurant for months and I'm so glad I finally got to experience it! Chef Ryan is a delightful host and he is an incredibly talented chef, as well. (No surprise since he was on the team that opened Afuri in Portland and Tanaka, as well.) We didn't get the omakase this time, but ordered a bunch of dishes from the ala carte menu, all of which were delicious. I think our favorite was the Chawanmushi with crab. A delicate egg custard topped with fresh Dungeness crab with shiitake mushrooms and squid ink. YUM! And the sushi was super fresh and rich. My friend even tried the barracuda (Kamasu), which she loved. There's also something special about discovering such a gem in a town like Pacific City. The restaurant is located in what appears to be a hair salon (there is still a hair salon on the side of the building) and there's a wood-fired oven which he turns into a pizzeria two nights of the week (also well...

Every single bite at Dew was a standout-thoughtfully prepared, beautifully plated, and deeply satisfying. The omakase-style menu was perfectly paced and showcased an incredible range of seasonal ingredients with Japanese and Pacific Northwest influences.

From the melt-in-your-mouth nigiri to the comforting, umami-rich cooked dishes, every course felt intentional and delicious. The vibe of the space is intimate and warm, with a clean, minimalist aesthetic accented by lush greenery and the soft glow of the wood-fired oven at the heart of the kitchen.

Photos show just a few highlights from the meal and the atmosphere. This place is truly a hidden gem in Pacific City. Cannot recommend this place enough. A must-visit if you love thoughtful, elevated dining in a...

This place is NOT just a hair salon, the person who wrote that other review has no idea what they're talking about. This is a great, new restaurant that has an amazing atmosphere and menu. The brick oven is beautiful and was built by the chef as were the plates, bowls and cups all hand-crafted by him! I've been there and I can assure you it's a great restaurant. Don't let uninformed people who have never eaten there tell you any different.

You'll see the pictures from our recent meal there. Go and see for yourself and you'll find an amazing, immersive culinary experience. I can't recommend this place and the...

A unique dining experience! Want something different, special, unique? Yeah, this is that place. The chef has put together a dining experience that’s hand crafted with attention to detail in all aspects. The food becoming art and motion and a process that happens virtually at your table. I suggest you order the Omakase and let the chef feed you his choice based on the daily menu. It’s different everyday. This isn’t a good place for quick bite. Take your time, listen to the chef describe his process and the resulting dishes he’s creating for you. It’s a fascinating and delicious experience!
