Update 30 minutes later: The owner reached out to me and was super apologetic and sweet. It seems as if there was a miscommunication between her and uber. She had everything prepared and was waiting for a driver. However, I believe uber didnt send a driver because it says that the restaurant staff was going to be the ones doing the delivery. While she was waiting for a driver that was never going to come, I ended up canceling. She later personally came to my house to deliver my food for free and talked to my little sister while I was in a college lecture, from what I overheard, everything was just a misunderstanding. I've worked in food service and know how hard it can be. Thank you again :) OLD REVIEW: I ordered on doordash and they never confirmed. Thought it was a one time thing, a few weeks later tried on ubereats, which they had updated with the ability for the restaurant staff to deliver it themselves. I waited 20 minutes past the LATEST estimated arrival time, and they never showed up. So I called the place, TWICE, only for them to never pick up!! I had to go through uber support for them to cancel that time at no...
Read moreThis place used to be fine but has gone downhill since changing ownership a couple of years ago. They have a big (very disorganized?) menu, so I haven’t tried everything—maybe some of it is good, as other reviewers say. (I just had to spit out the last few bites of a turkey sandwich due to a big chunk of fatty gristle.)
The coffee is still fine. The service is nowhere near as friendly as it used to be.
What’s really gone south is the ambience. This used to at least be a decent place to sit and work or read. Now it feels like a food storage facility with some big pillows to sit on. The counter is littered with random products. The menu on the wall looks like it’s been vandalized. (It hasn’t; the owners just crossed out old menu items instead of investing in a new menu.) It’s one of those local businesses where you want to ask the owners, “Don’t you see what this place looks like from the customer’s...
Read moreNice place, owner not so much 😞.. My wife would go to this cafe for coffee and lunch everyday, because it's quite enough for her to finish her studies. Not until one day, the owner approached her and yelled at her for spending too much time at his cafe, that is only 2-3 hours a day.. but wait isn't that what a cafe is for?? She is quiet and wouldn't hurt an ant, people sit next to her all the time at that cafe without issues. She called me crying, because that was her favorite place and that man ruined that forever.
I've never heard of this before, how could you treat your customers like this and feel ok about it?
Without further ado, here is one star award for making your...
