Don Tequila Madison — Restaurant in Painesville

It's exactly what you'd expect honestly. I enjoy my experience here every time.

The food is delicious, really it is! Although I can't say anything about the seafood. The chips and salsa are really good too! The rice is sometimes overcooked and the lettuce and tomato thats served with most burritos sometimes leaves a bit to be desired. But I've never been disappointed! My personal favorites are the cavs burrito and the Ohio state burrito.

The waiters and waitresses are always really polite and attentive. I never go too long with an empty drink or and empty chip bowl! They are so attentive that they will most likely ask how you're doing with your mouth full and you gotta give them the thumbs up because you can't speak at the moment! Lol. So tip them well, they definitely deserve it!

The atmosphere here is pretty common for a Mexican restaurant. Nothing special to really mention here but it's bright, full of color and it's overall very pleasant and uplifting.

Their alcoholic beverages is sub par, very strong and not much flavor to be had here other than that potent burn of alcohol that makes you squint. Not a deal breaker for this restaurant but they definitely don't bring it when it comes to margaritas.

Overall, I definitely reccomend this place to anyone who enjoys well priced, large portioned meals and is a fan of the colorful atmosphere that is brought with most Mexican...

Usually love the food and service. Tonight however was a HUGE disappointment! The server was barely cordial and less than adequate. I'm a margarita aficionado and have never left a drop of tequila in my glass until tonight. I ordered a raspberry on the rocks for a new taste adventure. LolololoL 😂! joke was on me @$8 for a rita I cudnt drink. What I received was strawberry (I guess) but I'm not sure since it was slushy not even frozen and about 98% sugar syrup colored red. Didn't leave any room for that tequila. My "seafood" fajitas were um,... ho hum and idk where the crab shrimp or scallops were. There was a ton of "veg" and a nice little fish filet on top. If the dish description claims that there is crab and scallops as part of the ingredients I feel that's what should be in there not imitation "stuff". The chile releno was w/o question suffering from freezer burn. I really hope that they were just having an off night because generally it is our favorite Mexican restaurant. I am not looking forward to finding another place to haunt so we'll give them...

The last time me, my fiance and two friends went they messed up 3 of our orders, than the guy took it upon himself to run my card after I signed the first receipt, and took an extra 15$ off my card, I didn't even notice it until the next day because he obviously didn't wanna tell me and did this illegally..... I called to ask for my money back and they said they didn't understand. When I went to confront them about this, in person, 2 days later... It literally showed on their screen how he cancelled my original charge and took it upon himself to charge more without my consent/signature. They then shared some comments to each other in Spanish, so I couldn't understand then proceeded to open the drawer and give me my 15$ in cash. They are lucky I didn't call my bank, and they are lucky the police didn't show up. That's illegal... I will never be going back. Should hire...
